I went there for lunch and first off, I was going from the grand palace and the restaurant actually provide free shuttle boat service to cross the river, but it's kinda hard to locate the pier as it is somewhere north of the public pier so we paid $6 ferry to cross the river to get to wat rakang and the restaurant is just right next to wat rakang. The meal is on the expensive side, but the dishes are worth it because they provide so much seafood in return. The seafood is delicious especially the king prawns. After that meal we were kind of confused as to how to get to wat Arun but so we asked one of the waiter, we had a hard time understanding the directions because there are so many names involved and the waiters have a heavy Thai accent, so one of the waiters actually travel with us on the boat to get to the pier while explaining the directions to us. Excellent excellent service!
