“Simple and Neat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2011

The location of the hotel is superb as its a little away from the hussle but close enough to the happening places. Also walkable distance to On Nut sky train station, Big C and TESCO Lotus stores. The room was simple and elegant but well appointed, friendly staff, decent breakfast, Good food, overall very good. I'll definitely go back. Ah yes there was a 'Stay for three nights and pay for two' offer which made the entire experience sweeter.

I stayed in 5 or 6 places in the On Nut/Srinakarin area and I spent most nights in The Bedrooms - a total of 7 nights.

In the rooms with the odd numbers, the sleep quality is much better. The even numbered rooms are on the side of the building overlooking a courtyard and somewhere within that there is a dog that barks at night. I moved to the odd numbered rooms and the sleep quality was much better, allowing me to sleep all the way through the night. That is requirement number one 100% passed

Requirement number 2 is a soft bed. Not very often found in the areas I stayed for some reason. The bed was so comfortable. My aching back from the Ninth Residence bed got back to normal while staying at the Bedrooms.

The small soi off Sukhumvit near the On Nut BTS is packed with massage places for 100bht per hour for foot massage and thai massage. Unbelievable. Fruit vendors, food vendors. Across On Nut road from Big C is a market where they sell the best coconut ice cream and sticky rice for 15 baht. Big C is right next to the hotel and awesome for buying cokes and fruit and food and snacks and toiletries at low prices.

The walk to BTS is 10 minutes - not much effort to get there. TV Channels are good enough if you really want to watch TV. Masterchef Australia was on and I got to keep track of what was happening while away from home. The guys downstairs are very helpful and friendly. The reception staff are also very good and always greet you with a smile and some chatter - I think they enjoy practising English. I took full advantage of the free Halls sweets at reception. Breakfast was pretty dismal for Westerners. I ate Choco Puffs, eggs and fruit every morning with good coffee. The other dishes on offer were things like onion rings, noodle dishes, tom yum and other Asian cuisine which I cannot eat for breakfast.

I would stay here if I needed to be in On Nut area again.

Room Tip: Choose odd numbered rooms on the top (4th) floor

The staff was very friendly & helpful. Quiet hotel right near the BTS line & near a Big C store, where you can get whatever you need from food to toiletries. Good place to return to after being in the the city & among the exhaust fumes from the numerous cars, buses, motorbikes etc. The massage place next door "The orchids" excellent massage & service, a little more expensive than the other shops along the roads, but worth it!

I've stayed in numerous hotels in Bangkok and Asia in general, I have to say the room I stayed in was very small, clean enough and comfortable but so small, the hotel has wonderful staff always smiling and eager to help, breakfast was at best average. My other gripe is the hotel is not as close to the BTS station as you are led to believe by their website. I would say 10 minutes not 3 or 5 and this includes using the recommended short cut. Would I stay again well I'm not sure really.

The bedroom boutique hotel is probably the best value for money hotels. We've stayed here twice already and will definitely come back agin. The rooms are really clean, nicely furnished with everyting you need (hot shower, mini ref, tv, dvd player, tea and coffee, water ,hair drier). the breakfast is really good with a great selection of food. the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. approximately 10 minutes walk to skytrain. the good reviews i read here in tripadvisor were true so we highly recommend this hotel for those who would like to stay in a nice place but will not cost a lot. Hope the bedroom hotel would always maintain their very good service and affordable accommodation!

I put 4 stars for location but its well away from everything. Well 5 minute walk to the BTS which then takes 15 mins to the Mai shopping area of Siam. But I like the location because its only locals and some expats living here. Everything in the area is so much cheaper. Massage, clothes, food. You don't have to haggle as much because the markets are mostly for locals.! Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are spotless. Great shower...!!! DVD and TV in the room. Internet good sometimes and sometimes its not. But you are always online..! No problems recommending this place to anyone..!

This was my third stay at this small, quiet hotel, situated just a few minutes’ stroll from the On Nut Skytrain station. The hotel doesn’t purport to have everything you might find at a larger, more centrally located hotel. But for the features it does provide, it excels. My check-in and departure were handled smoothly and pleasantly. Staff at the hotel are pleasant and helpful without being obtrusive.

My fourth-floor room was small, but was laid out in such a way that it didn’t feel small. The bed was spacious and comfortable. Remote controls were provided for the television, DVD player, and air con. The free wireless internet is easy to connect to, has a strong signal, and is reasonably fast and reliable.

For anyone who, like me, travels with an array of gadgets that rely on rechargeable batteries, there are plenty of available outlets everywhere in the room. The mini-bar fridge is thoughtfully placed on a shelf a few feet above the floor, so you don’t have to stoop over for access to it. It has some basic libations, with ample room left over to store your own stuff.

Though the bathroom was small, it was logically laid out. Its design was as modern and appealing as the room, and it was just as clean. The one niggle is that water pressure needs to be a bit stronger in the shower.

What I really love about this hotel is the quiet and comfort it provides at the end of a busy day. The air con cools the room quickly, and there’s no street noise on the back side of the hotel, where my room was.

For travelers who want easy access to central Bangkok, but without the nighttime noise, the Bedrooms Boutique Hotel is one of the best lodging values in Bangkok. I will continue to use this property on future visits to Bangkok; and I heartily recommend it to anyone who likes simple, modern comfort at a modest rate.
