Location: The hotel scores really high marks on the location factor for shopping enthusiasts being located in the middle of the shopping district. Shopping destinations like the Central World mall, Siam Square, Siam Paragon and Platinum Fashion Mall are all at an easy walking distance from the hotel.

Accommodation: The hotel lobby and reception area are small but welcoming and that’s the way we prefer it. The rooms were cosy and very clean with all our basic needs catered to. The bathroom was extremely clean and we had hot water whenever we needed it. Our stay was comfortable and did not give us any reason to complain.

Staff and Service: The staff was mostly very polite and eager to assist whenever we needed help or suggestions. They even helped us cancel our hotel booking at Chiang Rai when heavy rain and a damaged railway track played spoil sport and made us change our plan. One aspect of this hotel that was exceptionally pleasing was the promptness of room service when we asked for it.

Food: The breakfast at the hotel was simple and good. Satisfying for sure, but not exceptional. A definite suggestion would be to be bolder and try the innumerable food options available around the hotel.

Overall Review: A good place to stay at for a reasonable price. Offers good value for money but the food isn’t special but it's not bad. The receptionist multi-tasks occasionally and so you might find her missing at times!

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days 4 nights.
It just 3 mins away from Platinum mall and 5 mins from Central. Few mins walk away from BTS. It's located beside Big C supermarket. The room is clean and cozy. They told me the room has garden view. However, it's actually artificial garden. Anyway, it's not that important.

Service is good and there is free piping hot breakfast. Unfortunately, i got poison poisoning and was sick for 3 days in bangkok. Along the road to the hotel, there are whole stretch of street stall serving variety of street foods. If you have weak stomach like mine, be more careful when you are picking street-food to eat.

The bed is a bit hard for my preference and the blanket is too thick. Also, i think the TV channels are very limited. Seriously, they should consider to increase their TV channels instead of just 3-4 watchable channels. It was really quite boring to stay in the hotel. There is no WIFI in the room. Luckily i bought my own WIFI prepaid card.

Aphrodite Inn is managed & Staffed by people who understand the difficulties that may occur when staying abroad. I stayed at this Inn for 16 days. It is surrounded by opulent shopping malls, supermarkets as well as the delightful market stalls where wonderful bargains can be purchased. The Aphrodite Manager willingly arranged my pick up & return to the Airport which took away any anxiety for travel to the accommodation.
The staff willingly attended to all our needs from room service to exemplary linen & the daily cleaning of the facilities. I would definitely stay with these friendly smiling people again. .

Stayed here 5d4n. Traveled with friends.
Upon arriving, we are abit worried about it's location. Check in was smooth, we saw the TripAdvisor Certified on the lobby wall, and we were less worried about it's condition of the room since we randomly dined at one of the TripAdvisor certified restaurant in Phuket, and it was the best food we've had during our trip! OK back to the hotel.

--Location: Quiet environment. Was abit worried at first, but after that, the worried is filled with joy and happiness. It was 5 minutes walk to Big C (Hypermarket), 5 minutes to Central World/Palladium, 10 minutes to Siam Square/MBK/Siam Paragon/Pratunam/Pantip Plaza, etc. BTS Station is available within 10 minutes walk too. Just outside the road there are lot of stall selling food, garment, etc. Beside this hotel is a money changer, and everyday we can see lot of people queuing for it, no idea why, probably best rate? There is only 1 massage center within 2 minutes walk, and it closed at 10pm. So if you're staying here and wanted a good massage or a good local food, you can walk towards Ratchaprarop Road, passby Palladium, and you will first pass a 7 eleven and the local food stall, go ahead and you will see there are 2 massage center, 1 is at the corner, another one beside it. The one beside it will give you the best thai massage! Look for a guy with slightly long hair and you will be going back everyday.

--Hotel Exterior/Interior: Lobby was kinda small, but it is clean and nicely decorated. Hotel coffee shop is just beside it.

--Room: Rooms was amazingly clean and nice! The AC was very cold. There is some problem with the water heater too, so don't mess with it when the water turn cold otherwise it might burn you. Our window is facing a dark backyard with nothing to see but it is covered with some decorative fake plants.

--Room Service: Didn't order room service.

--Staff: Staff at the reception was good! Speak good english.

--Food Quality: We were given free breakfast and the food taste very good for breakfast. But it is quite limited as you can only order 1 set per person.

--Facilities: Didn't see facilities in this hotel/

--Wifi: Wifi is available but need to pay. Is quite disappointed as the charges are expensive. It should be cheaper since we are guest and it is just side service to provide your guest an internet access with a much more lower price.

I loved our stay in this hotel. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful to us. Just a skip and a hop you're already at the Big C Supermarket which they're open until 12 midnight. Across our hotel was just Isetan and of course bargain shops right down on the street. I couldn't ask for more except when you try to take a nap in the afternoon, all you hear is "BOOM BOOM BOOM!" because of the construction right beside it. I'm sure it won't be forever so it was ok for me. I would still go back and stay in this dainty hotel.

I have been staying in this hotel for last 7 years every time i am in Bkk, The hotel staffs have been there for the longest time and it feels like going back to the second home in other city. I have stayed in hotels in various cities but nothing come close to Aphrodite Inn heart warming welcome. The next best thing about this hotel is the location, nothing beats staying in the heart of Bangkok, across the street is Central World and Pratunam Wholesale Shopping center, walking distance to Siam area or just a stop away on BTS. The best staying experience you will ever have in Bangkok.
