“Great for transit in Bangkok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

I got great value for money. It's cheap, convenient to the airport and clean. The food's ok too if you need a meal, and the shuttle is fine. It's a bit hard to find the shuttle sometimes, so make sire you've got the hotel's number with you.

This place is just like its name...convenient! It is about 10-15 mins away from Bangkok airport and you shouldn't pay more than 200 Baht for a taxi. I arrived late at night solo but don't be worried about the dirt road driveway to the place, you aren't being kidnapped it's just not paved yet. It does look a bit dodgy until you pull up at the accommodation. This place has 24hr reception, rooms are basic but clean. Beds are hard but that's all of Asia really. Make sure you book a non smoking room that in,dudes airport shuttle on the way back. They go each hour and you only have to give 30 mins notice. There is free wifi but it works off and on in the rooms. Breakfast is basic but it's only 150 baht. I think I laid $19 Aust for my room and it was worth having a relaxing sleep before my next flight.

There's nothing around the area except open fields and a wet market. Beware- don't drink the juice the restaurant serves because they are made using tap water ´. Beware of stomach problems! This is just a very basic hotel. I would recommend you book in Bangkok instead. Take the taxi from the airport .It will cost you about 300 Thai Baht only.

Posted on behalf of my mother: Had one night here on route to Phuket, looked lovely from the outside but inside was a different story! First nightmare was the polished steps causing me to fall outside the main doors damaging my knee. Receptionist was friendly but the other staff were rude and did not seem interested. Got to my room 109 to see a table broken chipped and dented, bugs filled the light fitting, the shower was hanging down and even when I put it up it's kept falling back down so no shower for me that night after 12 hours flying! Door did not lock from the inside so not a lot of sleep either. Cables, wires and pipes hanging in the bathroom. Bedding and bed was not overly clean an comfortable, all in all I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Given the taxi price to the resort I would stay elsewhere for a little more money.

I am not getting theese people compaining about this hotel here. You paid 20USD and you are expecting to get Marriott style service/bed? Come on..

This place is just what you should except for 20USD/night, even more. I had free airport transfer to and from hotel. Room was spacious and everything worked as it soppoused to. Restauraunt had a wonderfull foor and I got good nightsleep before my flight.

I have stayed at the inexpensive Convenient Resort Hotel several times and it is a basic Thai hotel near the Suvarnabhumi airport with free shuttle. It is definitely not a resort by any means. It is just a clean place to sleep between flights or a evenings sleep before a middle of the night airport check. For my last night in Thailand, rather than trying to find a taxi in Bangkok in the dead of night to get to the airport for a 3;30am check in, I stay calmly here sleeping before my early airport check in.
One draw back is the open bathroom shower. It is just a shower head and a drain in the floor of the bathroom. No curtain to keep the water from going everywhere. Other than this, no complaints. It has a frig with free chilled bottled water, a hot water maker for tea or instant coffee. But if I find a clean inexpensive Thai airport hotel with a shower stall with warm water I would change hotels. I will try staying at other inexpensive Suvarnabhumi airport hotels to see if I can find that hotel.

this hotel ruined the last night stay of my wonderful hotel, firstly my girlfriend rang to make a booking and left her name, i then asked her to call back and ask how much which she said yes we have the room for 550baht, upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist who was so rude, advised that there were no rooms left available, and she tried to play dumb and not know of the booking until my girlfriend said her name, they then said they have a room but didnt have a working tv which i didnt want, they then said we can transfer you to there other resort oin the area, but they wanted to charged 1500 baht but looking at agoda they were only aksing for 600baht, which infuriated me even more, and then for her to turn around a nd say well you book it then, i asked for them to transfer me to the other hotel which they were going to do, until we were in the car, all of a sudden they had a room available, got to the room, the tv didnt work, they came up and fixed it, but 5 minutes later it stopped working again, by this time i was extremely angry, walked down(no lift) 4 levels to reception to tell them we were checking out and request a full refund. after this they didnt even have the courtesy of organising a taxi, which we then had to walk 500m to the main road to get a taxi, which then drove us around looking for another place to to stay which we stayed at the valentine hotel, which was the same price, bigger room and cleaner room, if you want something close to the airport i higly recommend definatley not to stay at the convenient resort, it is way off from being a resort

Room Tip: dont bother staying
