“This place was great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013 via mobile

Awesome service from the beginning, staff very friendly. Great rooms, comfy bed. Nice breakfast and nice facilities. We stayed in biz class so had free happy hour and snacks from 6.00pm. Decor may not be to everyone's taste but we liked it. Close to mbk.

Stayed here for 3 nights before heading home to Australia. Unusual and funky decore a nice change to what you normally get. Dining area and reception area are amazingly decked out. Good looking pool area although too busy shopping to have a swim. Service and breaky is excellent. Free internet in reception which is a bonus in itself. Thank you for that. Ventured up to the roof top bar and had a drink well worth it with amazing night views. Make sure you use the ladies , check it out and also the lift doors and the ceiling!!!. Excellent location being close to MBK and also Siam Discovery and Siam Centre for shopping. Rooms large and comfy with views. The Kings birthday was the day after we left and so everywhere was being spruced up and looked great. Chrissy decorations were everywhere outside the hotel and the Siam shopping Centres. Fireworks going off at the Stadium practicing for the King which we saw from the end of the Hallway in the hotel, what a view. Took a good photo of it all with my new I pad i just purchased. Stayed previously at Pathumwan Princess it was right at the MBK and had a great pool area whereas this hotel was awesome and still only a very short walk to shops and food. Would stay here again as a stopover. I luv Bangkok, but only for a few days!! its easy to get shopped out.
Would definately stay here again

Room Tip: Try to get one with a good view, and you can just lye in bed and look out the window at night

This hotel is out there, crazy decor not your average hotel furnishings. This hotel comes into it's own at night, fantastic lighting really shows off the colour's and features of this funky hotel.Rooftop restaurant is a blast, food excellent as is service and ambiance. We were club lounge, which was a bit disappointing, the view from the balcony on the 22nd floor over looked the Thailand national sports stadium (soccer/athletic/swimming)Enjoyed having a beer and watching the activities going on........Downside was our room, you either love or hate on first impression, dark grey concrete finish on wall's and ceilings with retro furniture, the ensuite was a high step over bath/shower.Not a good sleep the two day's we stayed, hard bed and pillow's.Met quite a few backpackers here which the hotel would attract being so well located close to all main attractions that Bangkok has to offer,

Room Tip: Suspect this hotel was once an office building(converted)All rooms are same/ same!

We recently stayed at Siam@Siam upon arrival immediately were captivated by the unique decor and the atmosphere. The Lobby is on the second floor a bit unusual. There is a fabulous funky area called "bar eleven". The first night we popped down there and we were entertained by Judy and Berth so each evening we treated ourselves to dinner & drinks at Bar 11. There is roof top dining but I am fearful of heights - however, the view is fantastic.
Our room was clean and tidy; a bit different as it was slightly industrial and very different to any other hotel we had stayed in. The staff were friendly and welcoming and it seemed that they were only to happy to accommodate their guests. Breakfast arrangement was I felt a little crowded but I imagine that may have been the row of tables for two. Overall I rate this hotel 4 out 5 and it is very well located for the tourist as it is near the great shopping and rail.

Three minute walk from BTS and only one station to Siam station you find an art hotel in the very heart of the city. Upon arrival you can feel the vibe to give you a stay with a difference by being ushered to the Club check in on floor 22. Sitting I a lounge chair with a drink and enjoying the view you are only one signature away from your room.
The room feels like an artwork of modern industrial design, comfortable bed, clean and artistic bathroom with a view and the latest entertainment and TV features.
Complimentary afternoon tea in the lounge gets you ready to discover the city. Within 5 minutes and no traffic you are in Paragon and Siam Center for shopping and seeing and been seen.
Back in the hotel complimentary cocktails and snacks are waiting for you. A shower later experience an affordable roof top dining experience with French and Japanese cuisine. Yum food, views and atmosphere. Unforgettable.
After dinner a nice cigar and Single Malt on Level 11 with life entertainment. Not being tired yet take the elevator to Ground Floor and be tempted to sit at the bar and listen to yet another entertaining big band. Order any of the desserts who look like artwork and taste devine.
Time to rest and sleep soundly to the next morning.
Here comes a grand breakfast buffet instantly and impeccably maintained by the chefs. Choose
Thai,Chinese, English, American, German or any taste in between - everything tastes great.
Artwork and pleasant staff everywhere it will become my favourite hotel in Bangkok now.

Room Tip: Stay in the Club it's worth the extra charge

We stayed at the Siam Siam for 3 days before we went to Koh Samui, the reason we chose it was because on the proximity to MBK shopping centre, (its about a 5 minute walk).
The skytrain is just across the road and very very easy to understand, the staff at the stations are really helpful, you really can't go wrong.
The hotel itself is everything people say about it, rustic, new age, it really is very nice, rooms are a bit small but it is what it is, comfy bed, nice views from the room, it was a nice place to stay.

I would have liked to stay a little closer to the centre of town, there are not that many things to look at if you just want to go for a walk a night, (we went there specificly becauce of MBK so i have no issue with why i stayed there) but as a person who just likes to get out and walk and explore i would have stayed closer to patpong.
The Patpong markets are great, you will find anything there (and i mean anything),
We got stung by a tuk tuk driver (there are signs everywhere about it but we ignored them and went with one anyway), told him we wanted to go to the pier to get the free boat to the night markets. He took us 10 k the wrong way to a sittle alley way where a guy wanted to charge us 1500 baht for a 1 hour boat ride, we made him take us back to the hotel but he would only do so if we visited his taylor friend (so he could get a tank of petrol as commosion for taking us there), we walked in and straight out and he took us back to the hotel so it only cost us 20 baht and 45 minutes but be aware anyway, we caught many while we were there and he was the onlyone that did this.
I was surprised how the staff really pushed their own taylors and gem shops on us, almost everytine we walked through the front door, the bloke on the fron desk would put it on us .
Lifts were very very slow about 6pm to 7pm, sometimes had to wait up to 10 minutes as they would be full evreytime you wanted to go down.
All in all, it was a nice hotel, staff were polite and helpful athough i was surprised at the lack of english from many of the staff, but witha smile and speaking slow anything can be communicated.
I was not a real big fan of Bangkok, but if i had to stay here again i would not have a problem with staying her.
THe roof top bar and views are spectacular, don't miss out on going up there at sunset.

What I loved most about staying in this hotel was the atmosphere of the place. I stayed here over NYE and the staff were incredibly entertaining; it was such a great night. Party House One was where we dined most the time, and there's a live band every night- these bands were fantastic and really added something to the experience.

Position wise it's excellent. Just a short few min walk to the MBK, Siam Discovery and Paragon.

The hotel itself is very modern, with funky decor. The pool's great, and there's free internet. The spa is good but a bit pricey- same pricing as Oz. I mostly went next door; they were ALOT cheaper. Our room was OK; our shower was a little grotty and was blocked, but apart from that it was alright. I think the one thing that will make me go back is the atmosphere and the staff, which was wonderful.
