“worst diamond ever”

The WORST night ever in bangkok!!! Me and my friends checked in during the afternoon in a rush as it was our first day in Bangkok. We found out the air conditioning is not operating so we asked for a new room. The staff told us that they'll try to fix the air-con so we just move our luggage to another room and went out.

We were back late that night, around 1am and the staff showed us a room on level 3. It was obviously under renovation and the corridors were dim, balcony with windows opened and covered with sand (for renovation i guess). They showed us to our room which is at the corner as the size of the corridor. There are absolutely NO BEDS for us, but only metal chair topped with mattress. We were so fed up with the management and tried to get a new room.

At first, the staff told us there were no rooms left with an arrogant attitude and continue talking on the phone. That was the worst attitude I got from a hotel staff! We were there waiting to negotiate with him as he was there talking on the phone (he should be settling our bedrooms first as it was quite late and we were all exhausted). After his phone call. he return to us telling us that the metal bed thing is what we booked for. Obviously its looked more like bedroom for staff than customer. We wanted back our refunds and asked for higher authority and only THEN he brought us to another room on level on. Another dark creepy corridor beside the public toilet. The room were filthy, small, and also seemed like their store room. There were spare beds behind the blinds, a very antique cupboard sitting right beside the door.

I would recommend boutique hotel if you were going for budget and classy hotels. Although breakfast were included, but the choices were little and dining area is really squeezy.

Room Tip: take the room on level 2 and do ask for a room with windows.

We were warmly welcomed by their staff with freshly squeezed tangerine juice, and they were absolutely free and available 24 hours along with tea and coffee.the location was a bit confusing since we had to walk 10 minutes from bts ratchathewi and felt it was a long one!
breakfast was very simple, yet very tasty and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! they had very basic items like egg, sausages, fried noodles, chicken and veggie, with one cereal, milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, bread butter and jam.
we stayed at one of their superior deluxe room at the 3rd floor facing the road and was at the corner.
the room was not that fancy, and i was a bit disappointed by their decor and furniture which was pretty old,and the toilet, which was dark and had poor ventilation.
the lobby downstairs was small but had a welcoming ambience, and there were pretty lamps and artificial plants everywhere which made the place look like it was very close to the nature.
the indoor swimming pool was really nice and interesting, and my hubby and i loved to spend time there getting our feet wet during late hours. once a very elder staff of the hotel saw us and she offered us orange juice which really touched my heart! i really loved the staff who were really friendly and tried to help us whenever we needed any..the major issue of the hotel is their room decor and all the things that needs to be fixed, they really need to renovate their corridor, the rooms, fix their ventilation system and beautify and modernize each and every corner of the hotel to attract more customers..other than that, the friendly faces, the caring attitude and the cozy atmosphere really won our hearts

Room Tip: the corner room on the top floor (superior deluxe) had a good view of the street

Hotel doesnt look like the photos. I got LOTS OF BED BUGD BITE in my arms and legs!!found insects and cockroaches on the bed. Found out that they dont change the sheets when the clean. The just use the other side of the sheets to make it look new. I know because i saw the same mark of blood of the insect where i killed it!! Creepy hallways and lots od mosquitoes in dining area because of overdecorated style of design in the lobby. Dirty and inconvenient place. Tried to ask for refund the first day of my stay so i could transfer to a better place but they didnt allow me to get my money back. The guy in the front desk sucks, I swear. Beware of this place. It should NOT be categorized as a HOTEL. A lodge maybe or Inn will do.

We arrived at hotel very early in the morning as we came from Koh Phangan. The staff went out of their way to clean the room allocated to us and allowed us to occupy the room later than the normal arrival time. We had a room with no windows, but is was clean and ok for the price. Breakfast was not to great but coffee, juice & small snack biscuits were available 24/7 for free. Staff was very helpful when we needed transport to the mall and other places that we wanted to viisit. We had our own "taxi driver" who befriended us the first time he took us to the mall, gave us his personal mobile number.. Thereafter we just called him and he was at the hotel within a matter of minutes. Also his charges were much less than thenother taxis in the vicinity - that ws a plus staying here.
Overally our experience was ok.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window, we did not know until we were allocated our room.

It's a normal budget hotel I can say and not a Diamond which they say . Location is really far from the shopping areas with 10 min walk to BTS station . The lobby looks very untidy with a stinky and unhygienic pool near the lobby . It has a morning buffet with a limited amount of dishes . Although wifi access is free but there is no proper signals . Rooms are big but very old fashioned and washrooms are pathetic with no proper light inside . In short , I wouldn't recommend this hotel to other travellers .

Picked this hotel for convenience of location (which turned out to be justified)
Good reception on arrival and attentive service throughout our stay
Found our room a bit dowdy but clean and comfortable although sheets had holes in them
Bathroom flooded when showering and aircon noisy and leaking water
Breakfast very basic but free coffee and fruit juice available 24/7
Never did find the advertised shuttle bus

Arrived on pre-booked rooms. However check-in was delayed till later. As they rush to make up our rooms. The floor was still sticky when we checked in. The mattress was horribly out of form and could be replaced. Lighting in this hotel is terrible but u have free wifi at least. The guy at the door can come in pretty handy if u need directions or transport arrangements

Bottom line is the location is alright and the staff is ok,but if you have an alternative choice of hotel better go for it.
