“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012

The whole place is like an adorable little wonderland! The restaurant has a little stream running through it and lots of cute floral cushions and table covers that were all made within the hotel by the staff. The shabby chic, vintage style is carried on throughout the entire place and everywhere you look there is something interesting or beautiful to look at. Our room was lovely and someone brings amazing ginger tea to your door. The best part was the music playing in the room, a cd made by the staff of the best music I have ever heard. We only stayed one night but it was so much fun and felt like a little dream world. The staff were so nice and the food was excellent. We were also given tokens for a free meal just for no reason! Try the massaman curry and the smoothies are awsome too!

Amazing. Beautiful place, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, the most comfortable bed I have had whilst travelling, peaceful and welcoming.

They have a sister hotel in Chiang Mai, a little pricy for the average backpacker but it was a well earned rest when we got there!

Recommend to everyone and will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Choose the best you can afford but even the most basic is beautiful. We had a room on the first floo...

I only stayed 2 nights which was good because otherwise I would have had to move out. The shared area is nicely decorated, the organic concept seems to be well thought through and the highlight is definitely the other guests.
The rooms are small, very basic, without moskito net or proper curtains. Through the window in the bathroom the light from the hall shines directly into the bed where you feel like you are lying on the bed. It is just way too hard.

Anyways: the highlight was the guy introducing the phone line and light switch on the fan although the phone was not plugged in and there was no box to connect it, same for the bedside lamp.
But this would still have been ok if the guy would not have taken his duty too personal: first of all he straight after check in offered me his full contact details and suggested I should call him next time before I'll come so that he can organize me a much cheaper hotel...!? Then he added me on Facebook AND sent me an email repeating his offer..

That's so sad as the rest of the team was really very nice and helpful...

Myself and friend stayed here over Christmas and we couldnt have wished for a nicer place to stay in Busy Bangkok.
Its a little hidden Gem away from the hustle and Bustle of Busy Bangkok, but easily reachable via Taxi and Tuk Tuk and still very Central.
Excellent Value For money, lovely helpful and friendly staff, great home made tasty food, an Uplifting ambience, bright and colour decor (its fantastic) and with a great Roof Terrace.
Both of us would definatley go back to stay here again.
It was Perfect! - I dont normally write reviews but this place was that special- iI had too!!!

After spending three weeks travelling budget accomodation in Thailand I decided to treat myself to something a little pricier for my last two days - this was certainly something special.

From the moment I arrived I was amazed, the guesthouse is so beautiful you have to see it to believe it. They have the little touches nailed, to a little sign on the door welcoming me personally, a drink on arrival, wonderful smiling staff (thanks to Nok especially!) who show you to your room and outline the facilities. A breakfast call to a delicious vegetarian breakfast and help booking anything you might need.

It was wonderfully clean and the delightful crisp and clean sheets (and the comfiest bed in the world) made it an absolutely great nights sleep.

Free wifi, free gifts of homemade soap, tea and balms to help those insect bites you may have picked up on your travels and then additional vouchers for lunch, massages and money off in their shop.

I joined the free cookery class which was also great fun.

The only complaint is that I wish I could have stayed longer!

I'd love to know more about how the social enterprise side of the business works :-)

I can't wait to visit again! <3 Truly someplace special.

Great place. Travelled with wife and two children. Arrived at around eight in the morning and provided early check-in at no extra charge. Also provided welcome drinks, new Year gifts of tea, bath soap. Fresh vegetarian cooked breakfast to order. Free wifi and knowledgeable and helpful staff. What more can you ask?

This was our first hotel on our honeymoon trip to Southeast Asia. It was a wonderful place to come back to after hot and noisy excursions around Bangkok during the day. The staff was very pleasant, and greeted us with sweet tea on arrival. I liked all of the paintings on the wall. The bathroom was nice, and the hotel was clean. As a vegan/vegetarian couple, we appreciated the thought that went into preparing our food and were very pleased with our breakfasts. There are lots of quirky little touches in decoration. Even our key had a carved wooden monkey attached to it. So much better than staying at a typical hotel where all of the rooms are alike.
