“Decent room, disgusting neighborhood”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

White guys in their 50s fill the neighborhood looking for prostitutes. It's really gross. The hotel itself is adequate. I stayed in a 2 bedroom with three friends and we were comfortable. While the room is fine, the service is badly organized and at times difficult to reach. The hotel lost our reservation at check in and caused us to scramble to find accommodations for a night to wait for a room to become available. The doors use regular door keys and our lock was tough to open. It's a cheap place to stay so the poor service was to be expected but I'd recommend staying in a different part of town.

Location and overall service ok(ish). But bed bugs made my stay feel abit uncomfortable to say the least. The bites took over a week to heal. If you anyway choose to go there please do yourself a favor and check for signs of bed bugs. Google is your friend if you are as uneducated as i was about bed bugs.

Omni tower apartments & Omni Syndicate apartments are pretty much one in the same a business within a business although the syndicate rooms or apartments tend to be cheaper.
The building is on Sukhumvit soi 4 (nana) but several 100 yards away from the more seedy part of this street. It is for the most part an excellent place and unlike a few reviews on here not at all dirty or vile far from it the rooms are well maintained and clean some need a bit of redecoration but this is the exception and not the norm. the gym is well stocked but the pool seamed to be an after thought...that said if you get to it early it does the job. My one hesitation and I dont wish to sound unP.C if your not a fan of are middle eastern cousins then this might not be the place for you, myself I dont care its a decent place to stay

Room Tip: pot luck works for me, but ask for a city view as by night its a teriffic sight

The Omni Tower was value for money, its crazy season being December so it was relatively cheaper having booked 30 days earlier! I can only imagine what this hotel looked like 15 years ago, it is run down and old now but had all comforts like lifts, plenty of security and in-house massage, small 7-11 store, travel agency etc. I cant comment for the newly renovated studio apartments as I was upgraded to a much larger 1 Bedroom with seperate dining room and kitchen! Two LCD's and two air-cons,on the 25th floor! The view of Bangkok was sublime but the room was old and outdated yet it had everything from microwave to kettle etc and a stereo system, catering for long term stay! It had opening windows which was a plus for me.The breakfast was nothing to write home about and I skipped it most of the time and ate out but the option is there.

The hotel is very guest friendly for those solo travellers! They even called up from security as soon as my company left the room to make sure all was ok. The staff knew what they were doing as well.Good sleep at night yet close to massage and bars. It had a good, steady and fast internet but I had a router in the room, that was a first! Just 150-200 metres walk from Nana Plaza and Sukhumvit, I could say I will be back.

Room Tip: The studio rooms have all been re-newed so that might be the way to go!

The Omni Towers is a little faded in spots but the staff, room sizes and price makes up for this. A strange mix of Middle Eastern families and single guys from Europe and Asia makes for little interaction with guests but the hotel is well located but still quiet. Staff work hard to offer good service, including keeping it clean but general maintenance could be improved. Overall, excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite appears so frequent that one should insist on it.

When we arrived the room type we booked were all occupied so we got a free upgrade to lovely suite. That suite was very large and had everything we needed. Their location is right in the middle of the action and quite close to Nana Plaza. We had a great stay at this place. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
