“The most lovely hotel in Bangkok”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

I stayed at Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel more than ten times from 2008 to 2011.All my next trips to Bangkok I will stay just at Nai lert Park.A lot of my friends also stay at this hotel.
I love Nai lert Park for everything.Wide comfortable rooms(business advantage),nice restaurant, tasty breakfast, amaizing swimming pool with incredible garden around, very friendly staff.Every time I can not believe that this hotel is situated in the center of Bangkok.Very good and quiet location,it is nearby Central Chidlom,5 min. by foot.Hotel with very pleasant atmosphere. It is place where I want to return again.

Room Tip: Choose business advantage room, because classic room is not modern and bathroom also is not comfortab...

The Hotel is nicely located with sukhumit ,pratunam, platinum, central world being at a walking diatance. The rooms are spacious but the furniture giving a worn off look. The breakfast served is quite good with ample variety .The pool side of the hotel is the plus point ,it is very refreshing to go near the poolside and spend some time there as it is very nice and green, very well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the pool have a refreshing green view whereas the rooms facing the the streets hav...

This is a great city hotel.
The pool area is a must especially if you remember that you are right in the middle of a huge city like Bangkok .
The staff was very good and the response to all our requests were promptly made.
The breakfast boxes that they provide us in two mornings were very good.
Besides breakfast, we also have dinner buffet there twice. The food was nice and the room was great, but here i have the only minus for this hotel: I saw small cockroaches in two different times near the food, and also, me and two of my colleagues had stomach problems after we dinner some seafood at the hotel restaurant.
The room was very good, big enough with good beds and a lovely bathroom.
The 3 bottles of water in the room that were renowned every day was a nice touch.
Overall we love this hotel.

Dear Value Guest,

Truly happy that you enjoyed the only oasis in the middle of the Thai capital which is a very unique setting for Bangkok.

Good value for such high standard hotel. All the staff are very well trained, very personalize service. Only hitch is it's not as convenient as other hotels, although hotel provide shuttle out to malls but every hourly so if you miss the timing, you'll have to wait another hour to go out.

This was our second or third visit to the Swissotel Nai Lert Park, but our first time on the exec floor.

The hotel is well situated, you only have to walk out the back gate behind the pool and down a short soi and you are at the Central shopping plaza, from where you can catch the BTS to anywhere in Bangkok. The shopping plaza also has an exceptional supermarket, downstairs food hall and upstairs food hall.

The pool at the hotel is very nice, although the surrounds are showing their age somewhat. If you can’t stay on the river for whatever reason, but want some ‘outdoors’ feel in downtown Bangkok, this hotel’s grounds certainly supply that.

Our room, however, felt dated (very). We like to have twin beds and I think we were given a room that is attached to the ‘main bedroom’ of the parents. The other room look nice but ours was very 1970’s and the window onto the verandah was glued shut (presumably for children).

The exec lounge was OK: relatively small and it was nice to have breakfast there away from the rush and bedlam of the crowd downstairs. The lounge has breakfast, afternoon tea and pre dinner snacks. The food was a bit lackluster, and often a little congealed too, but it sufficed when we were too tired to go out. Soft drinks and tea coffee are available all day and alcoholic drinks at night: however during the day the assistants tend to hide in a little room off to the side and you have to go and rouse them out in order to get any service.

I had a dispute over laundry with the hotel on checking out, but the manager most graciously solved this problem for me.

Conclusion: I would certainly return to the hotel because of its location and grounds, but would probably not bother about the exec lounge again.

Room Tip: Be sure if you want a twin bed room that you don't get one intended for children attached to the...

Beautyful hotel with a great poolarea and surroundings, very good service and excellent food in the restaurant. A perfect stay for a couple of days experience in the center of Bangkok. The only negative things to say is, that the beds are too hard and that free wireless internet all over the hotel is not available.

This hotel is a small oasis in the middle of the busy Bangkok city. I stayed with my wife and two children from 14-18th of July,2003. Our room was a swiss advantage room (416). We were lucky to have a pool view with a glimpse of the skyline and had the shade of trees. The room was good, not very flashy. The balcony was nice as well. The bathroom was very good having both shower and bathtub. The geyser instantly brought hot water and the water speed was satisfactory. We were given toothbrushes and slippers on request. It would be nice had the room have a dvd player and an I phone/i podt/usb port for charging and listening to music. The carpet in the room and specially in the corridors leading to the rooms are worn out and a bit old. It would be nice to replace them.Housekeeping varied in quality depending on who was doing it. One day the toiletries and ample towels were provided whereas the other day the seemed compromised. Also the timing of making the rooms were sort of based on their convenience. However, the service at the front desk, breakfast area was splendid. The breakfast had a variety of food. The shrimp dumpling was excellent but I was upset since it was replaced with pork ones for the next three days and we as muslims couldn't eat it. The lobby was nice and homely. The complimentary wi fii varied in strength and frankly was very poor. The best part of the hotel is undoubtedly the swimming pool. Its surrounded by a mini park/forest with even a waterfall. The water is clean, clear and comfortably warm. We thoroughly enjoyed taking a dip and swimming in the pool. We actually spent 1-2 hrs everyday in the pool. Anyone accompanied by kids are guaranteed a splendid time in this pool. Also the indoor shower section with the gym is very clean with friendly staff. Location wise, though a bit isolated we didnt have much trouble in going around. You need to walk through the park and pool and sneak out from the back alley which leads to a main-road. If you take a left you will get a 24/7 MacDonalds in a short walking distance, a 7/11 is across the road too. And that's very handy as you might expect. At the end of the road is Central Chitloom. Taking a right there would bring you to the intersection where you can walk to Central world, Zen, Big C, Platinum mall etc. Walking straight, instead of making the right, you would get MBK on the left and Siam paragon on the right. All these can be covered by a 20-30 min walk. However, you will get metered taxis from the back of the hotel incase you dont want to walk. Check in and out was smooth as silk and the porter and doormen were very friendly. Overall, it is a splendid hotel and is a must stay place for tourists with families. Best part definitely is the pool. You can infact spend the whole day there. We look forward staying here again.

Room Tip: Try to select a room with a pool and park view. 3rd floor rooms are quieter.
