It is a good full day outing while at Bangkok. Its about 45 min drive from city. Ironically you get it cheap if booked a trip (group / join in) with transport and lunch through an agent than travelling on your own and booking at counter on site. The guide deputed by agent takes cares of everything and ensures that you are not in the crowd and miss any show. You often find a huge crowd there with almost 70-80% of them Indian tourists. It is not at par with the Singapore zoo or Jurong Bird park, yet is good in its own way. First part is an open zoo where you travel in the car that took you from bangkok. Then it enters carnivore enclosure where you need to keep windows rolled up. Finally you get into the zoo cum show arena on foot. Shows are well orchestrated. Overall it was a pleasant experience for us.
