“Worst zoo I have ever been to”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

Felt horrible after leaving this place. The animals were under feed, trash in the exhibits, turtles with broken shells... the list goes on. Unlike most zoos this zoo does not care about conservation and animals rights... more about making money. I'm pretty sure the crocodiles were being sold for their skin because right when you walk in there is a crocodile store selling purses and what not... The water smelled foul, and you can see the bones on the elephants. My mom saw a keeper shooting rubber bands at the monkeys. People giving this place 5 stars are lying or blind.

Not the cleanest ,but you get close to all the animals, and not busy,to walk around is relaxing and the small monkeys were cute,

Totally awful conditions for these poor, poor animals to live in, I would strongly suggest against a visit.

“Poor Animals!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

The condition that these animals are kept in is horrible, we even saw some monkeys being beaten by their keepers. Not a nice experience at all, avoid this place! The zoo is old and tired and the animals look broken spirited and down right miserable. Please don't go here and support these cruel acts.

“Blunt blatant Animal cruelty !”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013 via mobile

This is my 3rd visit to bangkok and 2nd time to the crocodile farm. The 1st time was in early 90s and so I remember the farm being nice and exciting (understandable considering that I was lot younger). This time I visited with my husband and god was I disappointed. First all the other animals are kept in dirty cramped enclosure. They look unhealthy and unattended. The elephants are chained .the crocodile are the only ones which have a decent size area to themselves. But they are pitiful state. The place is rickety n smelly. The worse thing is they charge you quite a bit if you are a foreigner! ! ridiculous. This place should be banned and people should avoid this place as it sends a wrong msg about man animals co existence
