While making our holiday plan, I had read just one review mentioned in some blog and made it a point to include in my travel plan.
I found this place to be a true gem thus, I requested tripadvisor to list this as an attraction.
So here goes the reveiw
This place is actually a little outside bangkok, you need to take the Sathorn elevated road and is a 180 - 200 THB taxi ride from Chit Lom/ Lang Suan/ MBK. This place is actually called the 'The Mall' frequented only mostly by locals, its a huge mall and the water park is on the roof of the mall. The entry for adults is 100THB. The water and the park itself is exceptionally clean. Please note that you need to wear a water cap (yes, men, women, children, hairy, balding all alike). Everything can be hired at location.
Since I was travelling with my wife and two kids, we reached the mall and made way to the roof.
We entered by paying 100 THB per adult and a lesser amount for our son and my daughters entry was free since she was a toddler. We reached the hiring station and hired two lockers, the staff was also kind enough to store our pram at no cost. We hired some towels (exceptionally clean) caps, and tubes for the kids (actually you can carry your own inflatables as well and there is a pumping station next to the deposit counters) They give two types of receipts one for the hiring charge and the other which is a foil to seek your refund. There are lockers in the changing rooms that are spacious with enough room to store a small bag.
Now the park is really a fun place especially for people with children less than 13 years old, there are vigilant life guards at every few paces managing kids. There are two huge slides for kids above 10 but the moat and the smaller slides are a hit.
This place is frequented more by the local crowd than overseas tourists thus language can be a problem. There is a break from 3 to 3:30pm when all pools are evacuated and cleaned; during this time there is a stage performance (in thai). Food is mostly thai, however this is a mac d on the ground floor.
In all, a great great place and a must visit.
