“A very pleasant and hospitable hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

My son and I stayed there for 2 nights on a short stopover and we found them very hospitable and friendly. They welcomed us with a cold drink and fruit which was really appreciated on a hot day. Handy to everything we needed and very good services and breakfast.

we stayed in Sabye bangkok for 4 nights, its a nice fresh place with a good location and a decent sized & clean rooms, there was also a guy at the reception which was very helpful!

unfortunatly there were some chinese in the room before us, which put a durian in the fridge (smelled for 2 days). Another Con was the so called ''smart TV'' which has only 5 channels. Also the pillows were way to big to be comfortable for sleeping. The worst part about the hotel was a younger girl from reception with a attitude problem, she miscalculated our bill to almost double the price and acted indifferent during our stay.. Luckily the rest of the staff was friendly.

The Sabye is in a lovely area near to the Khaosan Road, with many bars and cafes nearby. We did find it just on the edge of being too far to walk everywhere, especially in the humidity of late May. It is a nice walk to Khoasan and the Palace etc but at times a tuk tuk was welcome.

The rooms are spacious and spotless, however, the matresses are soooo hard. We were wrapping ourselves up in the duvet to provide a little bit of cushioning! We had a disaster during our stay when the toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom. The staff were great - really efficient and moved us to another room straight away.

The kettle and hairdryer were appreciated, the showers powerful but couldnt get the smart tv to work. Only picked up 3 English speaking stations but there are better things to do in Bangkok. Breakfast was adequate, eggs, toast and cereal. The staff were excellent.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are spacious but the only drawback is the terribly hard beds.

Look no further if you are seeking a perfect night stay for a very reasonable price. I guarantee this place will fully meet your expectations.

I have stayed at Sabye Bangkok on business several times and I am pleased to have the opportunity to write a review on behalf of the kind and welcoming staff of this truly wonderful boutique hotel. The hotel has around 20 rooms, with special sizes ideal for couples or famililes. Some of the rooms highlights include: luxurious large beds with angel duvet, large plush bathrooms (with walk-in shower or bathtubs), flat screen smart TV's that directly connect to the internet, outdoor balcony, as well as, many other amenites that you would only expect to find in 4 or 5 star hotels.

Saybe was refurbished and re-designed in 2013 by a Thai architect named Blah, who is now the managing operator of this family owned gem. Sabye's clean simple and artistic style begins with beautiful rich wood throughout. As a guest you will instantly feels at home in this relaxed and classy atmosphere.

If you are looking for an oasis away from the chaos of Bangkok then I would highly recommend Sabye as a place to rest, relax and experience the city. The hotel is located in a quiet Thai neighborhood off of Samsen Road, and remains true to Thai authentic roots for local shopping and eating. In this general Banlampoo area there are many as 20 temples, including the grand palace and golden mount. If you feel like taking in the Bangkok night life Khosan is just a 5-10 minute walk. The BTS skytrain is also accessible from here by taxi for just 60 Bht ($2).

My friend and i arrived in Bangkok and had decided to spend a little more than our budget to have somewhere to recuperate after a long journey.
Sabye did not disappoint! The staff were lovely and greeted us with fruit and tea :-)
The room was bright, clean and comfortable with a good bathroom.
The location in particular is excellent, on a quiet local street which boasts many authentic and cheap eats (great street food too)
Its also a 5 minute walk to kho san road and a lovely food market.
Would definitely recommend!

Back again to Thailand since years ago. Now I tried new hotel, called Sabye Bangkok Hotel. It's unique location near popular Kaosan area and also nearby to Grand Palace. Although it's a new hotel, but we're very satisfied since they have spacious room so we can do our activity there freely without worry about banging the walls. Since it's quite unique location, I suggest to prepare hotel maps, so you can show it to taxi driver in case they haven't know yet. .. Other things, they have a nice GM and also warm greetings from all staffs. Yess... I like it very much. Thanks to this unique new hotel...!
