Just came back from BKK last week.
Pros
- nearby to street shopping zone.
- walking distance to platinum mall
- easy to get tut tut or cab, you just need to wait infront of the hotel
- decent skillfull thai massage (250baht/hour)
- clean room, but no view
- clean walkway in the hotel
- inhouse daily liveband performance

Cons
- hotel breakfast is same everyday
- dinner dishes in hotel is too salty
- alot of negro(not tourist) likes to hang around in the hotel "lounge" for drinks.
- traffic jam is a daily issue

3 of us (including 1 senior) stayed 3 nights in this hotel which was located in Pratunam area. Previously stayed at citin pratunam & decided to try this hotel after reading the previews. It was my first stay at this hotel and had good impression. The hotel is clean, moden, the room is spacious (we had 2 single bed + 1 extra bed) as compared to citin pratunam which is much older. Initially there was a smell when we first checked-in, but was okay after a while. The water heater and air-con was working well.
But kind of funny that you have to walk up a curb to enter the bathroom, as the bathroom was one level up from bedroom flooring. But still it's okay. They do not supply bedroom slippers, though they do have toiletries, boiling kettle & free mineral water everyday. The hangers are limited, only 4 in the wardrobe for 3 of us!

Ony setback was the wi-fi don't work very well, get disconnected at times. Also, each time other rooms at the same floor open /close their doors, we could hear the door banging which was kind of irritating. The doors could have been more sound-proof.

The breakfast was okay for the price we paid, ideally if they could have seasonal fruits /yoghurt would be perfect. Staff are helpful and always greet us when we came back.
The water heater was okay.
Overall, I am pleased with this hotel (will come back again my next trip), have enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to my friends..

The taxis in Bangkok do not even know the place. Its a really long walk in from platinum no doubt it takes 10 minutes. The so called breakfast that they claimed to provide is hopeless. Let's not talk about the quality of food, but at least the must be a quantity. There is always no food on the buffet. Everyone has to wait so long for food to be served. Breakfast is claimed to be until 10am, meaning anytime before 10am, food has to be present, but it's not.

Next is the services, their Wi-Fi is the worse provided, it's slow and the password given to you expires every 3 days. I rather use the 3G that I have bought from the airport.

I have stayed at the 93 on several occasions now and find it to be a great little place nestled right in the Pratunham market district and close to Indra Square.
The decor of entire hotel is very modern, an is more like a place i would find at home , than in Bangkok.
Staff are very helpful, rooms are well appointed, and the breakfast is also very good.
I also love the streetside bar downstairs, being able to watch all the actvities and goings on from there, whilst enjoying a few beers after a long days shopping !

Room Tip: several room options ..some are a little smaller than others, but spend the extra to get one of the...

Room is big enough for a couple.
Air cond is freaking cold.
Service is good.

One of the room got one kind of smell but another room is ok. Breakfast choices are very limited.

Will stay again if going to bangkok in future.

Room Tip: room 318 got one kind of smell. room 319 is good.

We stayed at the Deluxe room from 24 Mar 2013 to 28 Mar 2013. As we arrived in the morning, we requested for early check-in. They obliged as we have an elderly with us. I love the hotel for the location. The breakfast was decent. I like the green curry but it was only served on one day out of the 4 breakfast we had. The hotel is not suitable for elderly because of the super high step to the bathroom. The step is slightly lower for the public toilet on the lobby level. Overall, I would stay again if I am not bringing my mum.

The 93 is an OK hotel. The rooms are big and nicely decorated and the bathroom is comfortable. The location of the hotel is good if you like shopping in the BK street markets. There are lots of street stall restaurants in the neighbourhood, both Thai and Indian and there are also lot's of massage places nearby.

The downside to this hotel is that it's not too easy to find as it is in the middle of a market neighbourhood so your taxi drive will probably not know it when you come from the airport. Make sure you have the hotel phone nr so they can explain once you're close by.
Also the rooms are not very quiet. You can hear everything that happens on the hallway and if you have mainland Chinese neighbours like we did you may be awake at odd times. Also the housekeeping had a phone on our floor that rang every night a few times, clearly audible for the lighter sleeper.

The breakfast is not worth to go to.

All in all this is a fine place to stay in BK for the price you're paying but if you are looking for luxury you're going to have to spend some more money.

Room Tip: The higher the better..
