“Great music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

The music is great but the hotel is currently under renovation, so the music is now in the front outside foyer of the hotel. Currently a bar, as opposed to a restaurant, food not available, but tea and coffee is. Service is still good and the atmosphere of Chinatown helps overcome any current downside. Still highly recommend.

“Amazing Live Music”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

Most incredible live jazz trio free from 9pm-11pm tuesday thru saturday. We are staying at the hotel and feel very lucky! Amazing food and cheap!!! Great find. Skip the street food and come straight here!

“A bargain at twice the price!! The place to eat in Chinatown!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Where to start? I wandered in from the street not knowing what to expect. Then from the first minute Jarmona and another gentleman took excellent care of me. The service was of a very high standard.

I ordered a milkshake, spring rolls in plum sauce and a Thai green curry with boiled rice. The food was delicious (the best Thai/Chinese I've ever had) and the milkshake was outstanding!

Although it is normally a jazz club it was a quiet evening (I was one of only 4 tables) so there was simply some background music which was in keeping with the atmosphere created in this well maintained, modernly decorated, candlelit restaurant.

Before I left, Jarmona was telling me how they don't serve shark fin soup on principal, which made them appeal to me even more.

I almost forgot, the best part about this....the prices. 320 baht for the whole thing. Prices and flavours of street food with a 4 star service.

Will definitely return!
