“Professional Staff, Breakfast included”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2012

I have stayed at the Nana hotel multiple times over the past 10 years. They accept reservations by email and over the telephone without a problem. The hotel is large, and well known. Ajacent to the Nana (adult) entertainment plaza and about 150 meters from the Nana skytrain station, it is easy to find even for the novice traveler. One year, I brought my mother and her friends who all enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast buffet.

The rates have gone up a bit over the past few years, mostly due to the rising value of the Thai Baht against other currencies. But a great breakfast buffet is included in the price of your room, which makes it a better deal.

The hotel and the rooms are older, but well maintained. Large bed, large window, western style bathrooms, wall safes, minibar, cable T.V., and Airconditioner in all of the rooms, make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

There is wifi available for a fee. the minibar is not very expensive, and each room receives a couple of bottles of water daily compliments of the hotel. There is the daily copy of the Bangkok Post which if not delivered to your room daily, is available at the front counter again, complimentary from the hotel.

Being across from the Nana entertainment plaza, be prepared for the music, the street vendors, the various adult situations, and pickpockets. You will be approached.

The hotel is ajacent from Sukhumvit Blvd, which is a major highway. This area is definately a tourist area, and has many, many, many street vendors along the Blvd, which sell clothing, CDs, trinkets, cutlery, flashlights, and you name it. Be sure to bargain with the street vendors for all but the fruit carts.

Recommended for location, price, professional staff, and cleanliness.

Room Tip: Make sure to book ahead as the hotel does fill up at times, especially during high season.

I chosed this hotel because they had an offert for the jacuzzi suite, which I prefer, when possible, to the hotel pools in Bangkok as they are often open air, small, overcrowded. I must say the suite was actually huge and also the Jacuzzi, so, the 2500 baht rate was good. Th hotel location is just in front of Nana plaza and the area is always very busy. Th hotel is old and the staff is probably overstresses for the many customers as, it's the first time I find unpolite staff in a Thai hotel.

I felt I had to share Tripadvisor followers about this particular hotel, firstly I have been travelling to Thailand since the 70's and when the Nana was built and recognised it was a pretty good hotel back then.Gladly they have not allowed everything to become in illrepair.I personally
have stayed their on and off for 25 years or more.A lot of people might dissagree with me but
if you look at all the pros and cons it is a very good place to stay pending your onward journey
to holiday destinations in Thailand.
Everyone needs to stopover in bangkok for a little shopping and river tours, floating market etc.
The Nana is situatedin the perfect place, everywhere is reachable quickly, even the BTS station
is a few minutes walk called Nana.
If you walk out the Nana the first thing that hits you is the Nana adult entertainment center
and is there strictly for the single guys, enough of that, I dont want to get into that, the guys
can find out for them selves.
If you need some supplies for the room right around the corner is Foodland Supermarket where
almost everything is available, and if you are hungry Took Lae Dee in the Supermarket is a
great place to eat while shopping.
Hop a taxi and bangkok's biggest shopping malls are minutes away, the Central and the Paragon.I f you wish the MBK shopping Mall is a BTS train ride away (40 baht).
on a Saturday or Sunday again a few minutes walk from the Hotel you can take the train east bound right to TsatuTsak Market for an eye opening shopping experience.
The rooms in the Nana are big, obviously built a while ago but good and tastefully decorated,
comfortable enough for your stayover.
The Lobby is tiled in Marble and even if its old its still elegent. The Lobby has a small Tour
desk where you can book any and every tour available in Thailand at reasonable rates, even
flights or transport.
I f you are on the higher floors the city view is great(Photo added).
The Hotel offers a breakfast in abundance, a buffet where you can fill up without anyone
eyeing you out, they have Thai and American food mixed, and I must say the coffee is
always hot and good.
There are many staff buzzing around to assist you with anything you want.
And said all of this you must book as this Hotel because it is always busy, 90% or more.
I found that a lass called Jaruwan will help you with all your bookings on line and is very
good at her job.
Before I finish off I must add that the Hotel features a good pool and a great Massage Spa.
The Rates are below 2000 baht well worth it.

Room Tip: Rooms 508 -12 big and spacious for the money paid

Price is average, rooms big, decor dated.

I think the best description is okay- location if you want to be on this soi is great. Anyone wishing to watch a human circus may want to stay a night at the Nana.

I would stay again if I didn't have chance to shop around and just wanted a safe but unexciting option.
