“It's a Big Golden Bhuddha and a Nice Temple Site”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Well, yes it's a wonderful reclining Bhudda, but what makes this site worth a visit is that there is a wonderful temple complex that you can wander.

“humbling beauty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

This particular temple ground seemed slightly less frenzied upon entry than several others we visited in Bangkok. Our children were captivated by the humbling stature of the buddha, and the slightly less crowded and more casual air outside made for a more pleasant experience. We arrived by ferry and walked a short distance to this attraction, which was welcomingly cool and dim compared to the blaring summer heat outside.
