Its very close to the Grand Palace, about 10 mins walk. The Buddha IS massive and unbelievable, well worth seeing this.
Don't forget to see the rest of the temple it's equally impressive.

“Worth every Baht!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Impressive!
But steer clear from the tuk tuks outside the temple, claiming the temple's closed during certain hours - because the monks are praying etc, do not - i repeat - do not believe them!

“An amazing and grand Buddha”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

This was a must see due to the large Buddha. Viewing the statue from all angles was a great experience. It was quite crowded when we were there.
