I visited the Marble Temple on Makha Bucha day. Makha Bucha is one of the most important Buddhist celebrations and it falls on the full moon day of the third month of the lunar calendar, in my case on February 25th (google it as it changes year by year). I reached the Temple around 2pm and took a thorough tour admiring the architecture and the garden edged by a moth connected by interesting cast iron bridges. The place was getting crowded by the minute. Hundreds of believers were walking around the main building holding lotus flowers and candles. Oh, and the full moon obviously. I stayed until dark and took beautiful pictures while enjoying my visit to the Temple and the ceremony.
