“Stop over in Bangkok”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Lovely hotel, clean & well presented. Wasn't too impressed with the breakfast it was 'all you can eat' but quite pricey. Would suggest you try the 'Coffee bar' in the hotel lobby does fab coffee, cakes & sandwiches, used this on our last morning before leaving for Koh Samui, wished we had used this for breakfast instead of the hotels restaurant...

Great service, lovely room , very helpful staff; nice pool and the food is top notch. Nothing too much trouble. Arranged tours, Taxis, Tut -Tuts and doors manned 24 hours to offer umbrellas when the monsoon heavens open up ;@)

Room Tip: Near the lifts is noisey but bearable

We stayed here for 2 nights as a transit stay before going home.

The hotel seems busy and business-minded with all the classic business features.

The "rooftop"-pool is lovely and a nice place to relax after your visits to the city.

The location is not the best. There is a good 15 minutes walk to the skytrain and taxi in Bangkok is a very slow form of transportation. It took us nearly two hours to reach the hotel from Grand Palace - and that on a saturday "without much traffic" as the driver said....

The hotel offers different tours - a bit expensive but a nice service.

The restaurants provides food just above your standard level at tourist destinations in Thailand at typical hotel prices. They did, however, offer an extensive buffet with a large choice in the evening.

This hotel is very nice. Breakfast had a large buffet covering several ethnic cuisines (Western, Japanese, Thai) food was very good. There was an Italian restaurant (Robertos) on the 2nd floor which was very good.

Rooms were clean and hotel was large, nice pool. Not close to much. To get to the main part of Bangkok, needed to take the sky train, which was a bit of a walk.

Seems like a good hotel for business travelers.

We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were courteous and friendly and always helpful. The doormen particularly always had a smile, opened the doors for you and welcomed you . Our room was spacious, air conditioned and very clean . The cocktails were good in the bar and the group who sang every night were excellent . There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, a mini bar and a hair dryer in the bathroom. the shower was the best shower I have ever had , so powerful and refreshing after a day walking around Bangkok .I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a central Bangkok hotel that offers comfort and high standards of service

Situated out of the way but just within walking distance from the Bayokie tower the hotel is pleasant and comfortable but expensive eating and drinking. you have to walk a long way to get anywhere but if you want a taxi or tuk tuk they are always available. We stayed three nights including brakfasts which we very poor quality.

Room Tip: Its a high rise so it's pot luck

Stayed there for 2 weeks.

Staff very friendly, very comfortable, spacious rooms. Very clean hotel.
Nice pool side located on the 5th floor so you have nice city view when sunbathing:)
Disadvantages - no wi-fi in hotel and there are 3 elevators for this big hotel and sometimes you wait few minutes for one to come.

Great location - aprox 10 min from Skytrain (BTS) and you can get quite easy around the city.
You can use taxi as well (cheap to many landmarks, max 100 baht) but avoid rush hours otherwise will stuck in traffic.

Around the hotel and on the way to Victory Monument there are many shops and street vendors selling thai food which is great!
