“great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

the location of the hotel was excellent and very central. it is walking distance from the heart of the city as well as not very noisy. so one can enjoy both the party life as well as the quiet life to relax with your spouse. it is very close to the main party area and tuktuks are easily available. it is also very close to the the good malls of the city.the staff was also very co operative and helpful
would definetly stay there again..........

We selected this hotel for three reasons: location, price and brand familiarity. Yes - it's close to the subway, Skytrain & where you want to go out - for sure. It's kinda a pain to get to Old City, though, if you're doing any site seeing. And, yes, it was dirt cheap - $80/night on Jetsetter. Where expectations lacked was on brand - the Dream Hotel is so amazing in NYC - we were expecting something comparable. Just to be clear: this hotel is not comparable to the NYC branches. Instead, the lobby is trying too hard, the beds are relatively hard and worst of all - the sliding bathroom doors don't actually shut. So forget any bathroom privacy.

Would we stay there again? Maybe - but remember that you get what you paid for.

Booked a twin room online, on arrival they allocated a double. (Not what my brother and I booked!) After some rearranging, a twin room was made available. Apart from that, the stay was great. The breakfast was varied and plentiful in an unrushed and pleasant environment. The room was very clean, modern and had all the facilities you would expect. There was also a well stocked tea and coffee making area (as opposed to the usual one tea bag and one coffee sachet!) The roof top pool was clean and not busy. You can also have a coffee or beer there and snacks if required. The hotel was within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. I would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends. In previous comments, I can only assume the rudeness of the staff was brought about by the rudeness of the customer! A smile and a polite request often works a lot better than an angry exchange of words and demands.

This hotel is rated 4.5 stars I think - and delivers on the promise. I'm up to my fifth stay now and while every hotel has it's faults I've always been happy here.
It's located in a relatively quiet so - 15. Maybe a five minute walk up the the main road and the large new shopping centre Terminal 21. Same for Asoke skytrain station and a few minutes more to the mrt, underground line.
The hotel is split over two buildings - breakfast in one, the pool and another bar in the other (Dream2)
People seem to like one or the other - personally I like Dream two. I've stayed in both and have no complaints with either.
Often packages available - room, breakfast and internet together.
Sukhumvit is a great place to stay, we rarely caught a cab due to closeness to the BTS.

Will I be back to Dream? Yes, without a doubt.

The location was very good...you are near everything and that's good if its not for a long stay. Fair price and spacious and modern room... I personnaly did not like the decoration that much. The breakfast was ok but nothing special.
