“Good but nothing great to rave about!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

I stayed at Windsor suites in Room no 0633, in the sub building of the hotel. the rooms are pretty basic with a bed, a stone age era TV and some average wooden furniture. The room is pretty compact and has a spooky looking washroom which had drainage problem.

The staff here we felt were a little rude in offering their service and we wished for a better experience. The Pool area and gym are quite good. The american breakfast served was the best part of the stay.

The hotel is in the sukhumvit area which is up market and all places of interest are near by like MBK mall. The metro station is 2 min away and can take you anywhere very fast as compared to the weekend traffic we experienced on roads.

Overall its a good hotel but nothing to rave about. I was left longing for more from a 4 star hotel in the heart of bangkok.

Room Tip: insist on a room in the main building of the hotel and not the sub building.

Me & my boyfriend stayed here at the beginning of this month for 2 nights.

Don't get me wrong, it was very clean & quite plush is some areas. It was basically a typical London style hotel, as Sukumvit Road is meant to be the upmarket area of Bangkok like the "L1" area of London.

The prices are high, we ordered 2 sandwiches & a small orange juice around the pool & it came to about £13.50! We wouldnt have minded but the quality of the food was very poor, crozzled chips & my boyfriends ham & cheese baguette was only a quarter of a baguette that was ROCK HARD lol.

The rooms were spacious & clean with complimentart bottled water & air con. The hotel porters & guys who opened the doors were tremendously friendly & nice.

The lagoon style pool up on the 14th floor I have got to say was the hotels best feature & was what attracted me to booking to stay here in the first place.

Overall we are happy that we stayed here, but I just don't recommend the food! They also add 17% service charge ON TOP of the already high prices so beware!

While the hotel is not very modern, it has big, comfortable rooms, a good and clean pool area and the location is quite good.
What impressed me most though was the flexibility and friendliness of the staff. In particular, the ability to extend my check-out time was very much appreciated.
I will definitely stay at this hotel next visit.

The furniture perhaps dates back to 17 BC and maybe it would earn more money being a museum than a hotel. The location is great but the service is simply annoying. You can call a million times to get something as simple as the locker opened, but the front desk does not really speak ENGLISH!
And I thought it was at least a 3 star hotel and in hospitality industry if you dont speak a global language then do you expect travellers to speak THAI!
Breakfast was average and service and rooms were terrible.

I will not recoomend this hotel to anyone coz you have plenty of other better choices around the exact same location

Room Tip: DO NOT stay in this hotel is my only view for travellers if they dont want to be as disappointed as...

Would have been an upmarket hotel in the 50's but showing its age now.Don't know where these other people stayed but compared to ausi standards not that good. I payed $50 only worth $35. Front desk staff helpfull but english not good. Restraunts overpriced for BNK. Room had no TV, Jug didn't work. No water one day. Internet was down for one week. Had to walk two blocks for internet cafe. Walking distance to Terminal21 shopping with,. Overpriced clothing but food market cheap, very good. restraunts.

Room Tip: Two buildings, haveing stayed in both, one on the left of the main building.and one behind the front...
