“Excellent stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2012

Just arrived home after spending two weeks in Evergreen Laurel. It was my second time to stay in this hotel as it's near our regional office.

Room was very comfortable and very clean. I had fast wired net connection all throughout.

I stayed in the smoking floor (8th floor) and my room was kept immaculately clean daily. Service was top-notch!

Two very. very minor cons: while the breakfast was excellent with wide choices, it would be better if they change menu. Also, TV is still CRT, might be nice to upgrade to LCD.

Room Tip: Smoking floor is 8th floor.

One of the finest Bangkok has to offer. I was there after 15 years and was amazed to see that the hotel has still maintained its immaculate rooms and good service.

Rooms are medium sized and the view from the room opens to the running traffic down the road.
Bathroom is proportionately larger and is well maintained.
The location is walking distance from two SKY train stations. Also, the silom market is a 5 minutes walk.
The hotel has classical chandeliers right from the lobby to the restaurants to the rooms alley etc.

The best of the hotel is anyway the great service of its staff. The hotel manageress ensures that the guest stay is memorable.

If you do a little research on the net, you will also find Super prices for the hotel.

Overall highly recommendable.

Room Tip: Choose room facing the front.

Stayed for 4 nights last month and it was fine stay, people are very friendly, arrived at the hotel 10AM and room was ready, nice room(not that big but not too small either), very nice shower booth and also a bath tub. breakfast was good(not the best, keep that in your mind that this is 4 star), location was just great, only few mins aways from sky train, Parking was easy and also free for guest.
I know there are so many great hotels in Bangkok and I stayed few of them, but this is the one I will go back again, for the price, location, friendly people.

The hotel is located in a very good area no matter if you are in Bangkok for leisure time or for work. A skytrain station is very nearby and there are many restaurants and a night market in walking distance.
Besides that the hotel is very clean and looks nice. The staff is friendly and helpful and even though I had to leave early they did everything they could in order for me to only have to pay for nights I actually stayed at the hotel. The service is really good and also the pool is nice and a good way to cool off from the hot temperatures in BAngkok.
The rooms are big, clean and well equiped. The bed is awesome and very comfortable, the bathroom has a shower and a bath tub and everything looks very elegant. However you still feel cosy in the rooms.
Massages and room service even for breakfast is offered and there are three restaurants in the hotel. The breakfast offers a wide variety of food and everybody can find something he/she likes. The best thing however is that eggs in any form are cooked right in front of you so you can just order whatever you like and watch the preparation or wait for it to be brought to your table.
The best hotel I stayed in so far!!!

The hotel itself was fine with a spacious lobby area and nicely furnished if a bit small rooms. The setting was very much in a business area with many office buildings surrounding it. I thought this was a bit of a negative as I was traveling as a tourist. The more touristy Silom Road and infamous Pat Pong were only a 10 minute walk away down a small side road ( Convent Street). Service was fine but the hotel was a little more formal than I prefer for tourist travel. Concierge desk was helpful in arranging day trips.
Breakfast was spectacular.
Overall this hotel is good but I prefer a more down to earth place closer to the local scene and so changed to a different hotel on my return to Bangkok a week later.

Room Tip: No real advice here. All rooms seemed OK.

Having been to bangkok several times, walked past this hotel a few times but never realy apprealed to me from the outside .. I found a hot deal on this travel website, which you wont believe me what i paid but its true, i had a juniour suite for 1000baht/£20 a night with breakfast ! amazing, i snatched the deal!

The interior is very nice, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful at all times. The pool was on the small side but it didnt bother me.
The suite was amazing, huge lounge with LCD, sofas and a writting desk, this led into the huge bedroom, followed by a dressing room and a huge bathroom. 2 bathrooms in this suite!

Location was amazing, took me 10min walk to the BTS, patpong markets on silom road.

I highly recomend this hotel and if i get the same deal again (i doubt it) ill be returning
