“Nice new property with convenient location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Couldn't have been happier with the rooms but not surprising considering how new this hotel is. Very close to the high speed rail. If I have one complaint its that the breakfast buffet was all cold. Even though everything is in those heated containers, everything was cold...it seemed to be a trend because I had the same issues with the Hilton Arcadia resort in Phuket.

Stayed for 5 nights. Initially got a room which tend to be small for 3 people so asked for an upgrade (silver VIP member). For extra fee we got an upgrade to one bed room suite on the top most floor which was awesome. Forgot the name of the gentleman (sorry) who understood our concern and quickly acted on it.
View from 23rd floor is spectacular and room is quite big to our taste. has a cappuccino machine with 2 fridges. Only thing missing is a small microwave.
Staff was wonderful, Thanks to Belle (Ditsaya), Toy and all others.
Location is close to BTS and lots of massage places. Never seen so many within few feet and I love massages so not complaining :)
Hotel is on a quiet location as well. Front desk staff and concierge always helpful and they all work really hard I can see. They do have a nice swimming pool as well.
I ate at the restaurant every day and food is only so so and little expensive. They need to work on that so I give four stars.
Since I stayed in 23rd floor in a suite I had a wonderful experience. Thanks to all the staff.
If I get the same deal I sure would stay.

Room Tip: Walk through next door Hilton to get to BTS. It is a busy street with busy street with mail, shops...

The Doubletree by Hilton Sukhumvit has recently opened and I like to go to places where you can still smell the fresh wood and have the  feeling that I am from the first few that use the mattress and pillow in the bed that I am sleeping. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel, and I was not wrong.
The first impression you got arriving here is that you are in a fine place in the center of the city. The designers of the building have done a great job giving the outside and inside a very nice design and they take advantage of the little space they had available by doing the best possible thing and you can see that in the room as well which I would say is a little bit small but thanks to the sliding bathroom doors it does not give you the feel of inconvenient .
Very thoughtful for the modern traveler is the port mounted on the wall next to the big TV set and has a hub for a usb to TV, HDMI to TV, RS 232 to TV so you don’t have to look in the back of the TV set to connect your media player or laptop. Its great to have a speaker in the bathroom too and a control for the volume to adjust it.
The breakfast was our only experience with the hotel's main restaurant witch was very good with a mixed variety of Thai,  Chinese and  Japanese cuisine, plus the classic toast breads and croissants. Nearby and using the courtyard of the Hilton located next door you can walk in just 5 minutes to the "Emporium Mall", one of the not so big Bangkok's shopping malls, but with the presence of Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Gucci, and other fine and exquisite retailers.
Using the BTS station right outside the mall you will arrive after 4 stops at Central World Plaza and after another one to Siam Paragon the two biggest shopping complexes in BKK. One station away to the south you have another great mall called “Terminal 21”.
Right outside the hotel I found a couple of very good restaurants and several studios with all kinds of massage. The concierge was giving instructions to the taxi drivers every time we asked for a cab making sure they were driving is to the right place. We had a very good time here, there is nothing really very far from this location and if in the future we visit Bangkok again, we have absolutely no problem to stay here again. We loved Doubletree, its cookies, and we miss it.

Room Tip: The higher, the better, views are not great anyway.

During a trip through Asia with my friends I have stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. A fantastic hotel with very attentive staff and modern facilities. They have very a knowledgable concierge service and the bell staff was very helpful. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day and the security staff was very polite. Special thanks to receptionist Belle, she gave a personal touch and advised us where to go. I can't wait to come back end December. Keep up your good work!

This hotel is near phrom phong station, 5 mins walk away from the sky train station. It is close enough to the central of Bangkok only 4 stops from Siam. Just for your information about 400 bht from airport.

Very convenient, lots of japanese restaurants and massage parlour nearby.

The service at the hotel is great, lots of choices at breakfast and room is lovely and clean. the pool is small but nice, good to unwind after the long day in town. the only grumble is free wifi in public area only, but you can use the computers on the ground floor.

I will stay there again!!

I don't give this rating easily, but this hotel was absolutely perfect. A very high quality room combined with the fastest service I've ever experienced in Bangkok makes it truly stand out from the crowd. I will definitely be a regular.
