“excellent stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

Gotta love this hoel! Nice big room, well decorated, excellent location (mall, resto, taxi, monorail), while breakfast is also very good (though selection is not as good as next door hotel). Would be my first choice the next time i go to bangkok.

4S BKK has got everything right! Had a great two night stay. Very classy place, beautiful period interior which is instantly apparent as you walk into the lobby with the stunningly painted ceilings and the spectacular main staircase. The rooms keep pace. Large, gracious and comfy with L'Occitane toiletries in the bathroom that seem to be standard for 4S. The buffet breakfast was excellent, spoilt for choice. For me the highlight of the hotel was the gym, absolutely top class equipment, amenities and 'ambience'. Highly recommended.

Originally I booked my wife and I into another hotel which really didn't deliver what they promised, so at the last minute we turned to the Four Seasons to rescue what was set up to be a rather dull end to a wonderful honeymoon; and I'm so glad we did!

Ok, so let's be honest, The Four Seasons is not cheap right, but from the moment my wife and I were relieved of our luggage as we entered the hotel, we knew that we had come to the right place. The hotel is grand and gorgeous!

After checking in, soon after entering our room, we were greeted by two guests, the first bearing our luggage, and the second, a pot of Jasmine tea for my wife and I to enjoy.

That evening, we enjoyed the food at Biscotti, the Italian restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel, and this combined with the grandiose of the Four Seasons was all the magic we needed to rescue our day.

The next morning we were impressed by the best buffet breakfast we have seen in Thailand. There was so much to chose from that it felt, just a little, like being in Willie Wonka's chocolate factory.

We checked out early but asked whether we could leave our luggage at the hotel until much later in the day, as we had a late flight out. The hotel staff were happy to assist, and suggested that we come back whenever we're ready for a shower before our flight.

When we did come back we had over an hour to kill, and decided to have a swim in their swimming pool. The waiters brought us complimentary water and snacks, and were as gracious and friendly to us as to any other guests.

Four Seasons exceeded my high expectations by being a five star hotel that made me believe that it's secondary goal is to make money, and it's primary goal is to serve.

Thank you!

The lobby has a very elegant feel. The main stairs is a view like no other. All the staff were helpful and courteous. You get your money's worth staying here. The room is spacious and modern with a touch of Thai flavor. 50" flat screen interactive TV with internet in the room. Bathroom is modern with L'Occitane amenities. No need to bring work out clothes/shoes ot the Health Club...they'll provide them. The Health Club has locker rooms with each a jacuzzi, showers, and sauna. Work out rooms have several nautilus, aerobic machine, free weights and even scheduled classes. Racquetball court also available. Free juice, apples and water to ensure you don't pass out. When you check out, make sure you spend at least a couple of hours at the Health Club. Get a massage or have a dip at the pool or a relax at the sauna then jacuzzi. Highly recommended.

I spent a week in Bangkok at this hotel. The gym and pool were excellent. The room was standard for a hotel of this quality. There was a great breakfast buffet but it got a bit too hectic when everyone wanted to eat at the same time. Maybe they need more staff or to expand the number of breakfast rooms. I took a tour the last day which was arranged by the hotel. That was very nice.

Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Perhaps you want to face the pool. My room didn't have a view.
