Spent 4 nights in P.P. hotel in October. Great value for money, was surprised with quality of the service. It's one of the leading hotels in Bangkok and cant' complaint about anything ( well...there is one think, but later ) First - check in with welcome cocktail is very nice, luggage delivery to your room awesome .-) room was very spacey and super clean with lots' of pampering stuff in the bathroom. Room service excellent, recommending breafast to your bed after bussy night out!!! The only think is Door connecting next room together...you can hear every noise from next room, so ear plugs are essential. Hotel is very modern with some great dining, pool restaurant is fantastic, was there twice, staff remembered my name and order from two night ago.Extremely friendly. Pool is great as well, is open until 10.30pm, so you can unwind after hot day out in jaccuzi. Tour service in hotel great as well. Bus from airport take you nearly before the main door. Taxi cost 400Bahts ( so, dont' pay anymore, they will try to rip you off ) .
BTS Skytrain is straight beside the hotel and huge shopping mall too. It's just 5 stops from Patpong, if you like night life and taxi to the boat station connecting grand palace and wat arun cost 50 Baht ( 1 Eur)!!! Anytime I will be in Bangkok, will stay in P.Princess.

The service at this hotel was great. Whatever i needed staff were quick to respond, most of the time someone was at our door within 5 minutes ready to help. Staff were friendly and were always smiling. Special thanks to the staff at Cafe Bistro. They were so attentive to there customers. The reception and lobby area looked fresh and modern. We stayed at the deluxe room, it looked average [maybe they can add a bit more color and a different design].
If i had to name the negatives, although not major, it would be the costs. But for the great customer service they delivered i think it's worth it. I probably have to warn you though of the internet cost, it was 17 baht per minute [when i went 1 dollar was worth 23 baht] which i think is pretty pricey considering a hotel we stayed at in Phuket was 100 baht per 30 minutes.
This hotel deserves the 5 points i gave it!!!

Pathumwan Princess lived up to all expectations, having heard about it while visiting Bangkok 3 years earlier. Room was spacious, and clean, loved having more than a bed to sit on. Ordered room service on the first night as we arrived late, and it was good food, hot and beautifuly presented.
Breakfast range was vast, although did get a bit crowded.
The pool and gym area was fantatstic, just wish we had more time to spend lying by the pool, rather than shopping.
Lunch by the pool was excellent, adored the margerita pizza, and the thai meals were great too.
Would love to go back and spend more time at the hotel.

I was there with my husband in May on our first visit to Thailand. After researching many hotels in the city we chose to stay in Pathumwan and were not disappointed. The front desk was very accommodating and even upgraded us to a large corner room with a great view of the city. The hotel is in a great central location. It's a 5 min. air conditioned walk through MBK to the nearest train and you can continue walking to all the nearby malls. There is a lot of food in the attached mall, MBK, and should definitely try the 5th floor FoodAvenue. The concierge on the first floor is very helpful and even though we didn't book any tours through the hotel, they assisted us in arranging some of our activities and provided useful recommendations. Don't be afraid to ask for their help. We used the pool and hot tub one evening after a long day and found we were one of the only ones there, which was surprising because the pool is huge and it's very pretty there at night with all the lights. We tried the pizza at the poolside restaurant and its pretty decent if your used to eating pizza in Asia, but if you like more authentic pizza I advise that you don't eat there. Overall, great value hotel, affordable with a great location.

The Pathumwan Princess was recommended to us by our travel agent and all comments we heard from people who had stayed there were very positive. We were delighted with the Junior suite and the location with easy assess to MBK Centre which offers a great variety of shopping. It is also only a short taxi ride to Patpong or Lupini night markets.
The breakfast buffet is fantantastic.
