“Great 4 star hotel in the shopping district”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

* great location - right next to MBK, in fact, you can walk direct into MBK via the hotel lobby.
* staff who greet you at the front door of the breakfast restaurant rude. Wait staff need more training - they appear only to be there to clear tables once people leave.
* gym is fantastic (and free for guests)
* only a block to National Stadium - skytrain
* tuk tuks right outside
* we booked a suite and it was fantastic - spacious, 2 TVs, king bed, lounge area, huge bathroom

This hotel atmosphere is big and open. The rooms are average size and comfortable and relaxing. Again I think the high room prices are more about the hotel location that anything else. The biggest thing this hotel has going for it is its location. If you're just stopping over in Bangkok and want to step out your hotel lift to the biggest shopping mall then this is it! The hotel staffs have become less focused on customers over the years and appear more concerned with flashy foyer lights than a welcoming Thai smile! Stayed here over many years and meet many travellers from Australia, USA and UK here.

Had a pleasant stay at P Princess hotel. The hotel has a businessey atmosphere. The room was not too big but was nicely furnished with a warm color scheme and wooden walls - very comfortable and relaxing.

The biggest thing this hotel has going for it is it's location. If you're just stopping over in Bangkok and want to do a spot of shopping, this is the place to be. Literally next door to MBK mall where you can buy quality fakes and cheap clothing. About a ten min walk from the flash and glitzy Siam Paragon if you stroll through the street markets and take the overbridge. It takes long enough to get there to break a decent sweat though in Bangkok heat. Would recommend taking a tuk tuk to Siam.

Overall decent hotel. Nothing special, but if you're looking for a good base to shop from, clean comfortable rooms, and professional sevice, it'll do the job. Cost about 100usd for one night so good value.

I was a little unsure when booking as there are so many hotels in Bangkok to choose from. Upon arriving the staff are so friendly and helpful and they love children!!! We stayed in the Execuplus Suite, it was really big, with a separate lounge area with a flat screen tv and also one in the bedroom. The hotel was lovely and clean, the breakfast buffet had a great selection. Also being connected to MBK and to Siam Paragon is definitely a plus. I couldn't fault this hotel in anyway having travelled around the world regularly, also reasonably priced per night. A big thumbs up from us and will definitely stay again in the future!!

Having stayed at the Pathumwan Princess on 2 occasions before we are about to return in May 2012. A great hotel with very good staff , the hotel is location lends itself to be a great base to explore Bangkok from. Take the lift downstairs and walk into MBK after shopping for a couple of hours it is just so easy to get back to your room, have a rest so then you can do it all again. Breakfast at the hotel is great and diverse; there are also a number of in-house restaurants as well as a good selection available from room service. A swim in the pool or spa is also most refreshing or a trip to the gym. Summing it up Great Hotel, Very high standard of service and again location is everything.

P.S. Dont miss out on the food court loacted on the top floors of MBK so much to choose from and so reasonably priced.

This is a really nice hotel.

The service staff is very helpful and friendly.

The room is very nice and new and we got a room with a nice view of the city.
Very convenient, the hotel is linked to MBK shopping center.
