This place is AMAZING!
At first it is a bit overhelming but if you are into spending a holiday of your lifetime then definitely try it out. I would recommend paying for a riverview suite, it is well worth it - mine was on the 57th floor I think and the view was magnificient. Staff was always very useful and polite(it is Thailand after all)
Another thing would be their breakfast which is included in the price: simply delicious and it can fill you for the rest of the day ;-)

This hotel has everything.......how some people can complain about the length of time for the lifts or that there are too many people available to greet and welcome you is beyond me-this is an amazing hotel-the one bed suite we stayed in was amazing as was the bathroom.

gym was great, breakfast buffet great, pool amazing, rooms were out of this world-service incredible,restaurants- simply you have to do the sky bar! and also go to breeze! just dont do the drinks as wine is hugely expensive in thailand as a whole!

Lebua is very modern with fabulous views over the city if you get a high room.

Lebua also boasts the highest Al Fresco restaurant in the world - it has the Sky Bar which is amazing. Don't go if you are scared of heights though because I have to say i was surprised at the easy access you could get to look over the side!

Rooms - clinical, modern and clean.

Service - very good

Restaurant - a must with a good food menu on the roof, breakfast downstairs also good.

Pool - small pool but adequate to lie about.

Stayed here for 4 nights over the Loi Krathong weekend. An absolutely fantastic hotel where every member of staff goes out of their way to greet you rather than shying away. The views are amazing from this 64 storey hotel. We stayed on the 55th floor and had a great view out over the river - on this side there is no other building nearly as high to block any view. The view from the SkyBar is magnificent but be warned if you arrive later in the evening as you may have to buy a drink before being allowed outside - average drink prices were about GBP5.00, and the dress code for the bars and restaurants is strictly enforced. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Oriental pier where the riverbus can take you to the Grand Palace - beats the BKK traffic, although you have to negotiate a busy road junction outside of the hotel that has no pedestrian safe crossing period. If you like street food head out to the road behind the hotel, or go under the Taksin BTS
Skytrain station which is just over 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast is standard hotel buffet style with Western and Eastern choices, there didn't seem to be a problem with table shortages despite the hotel feeling pretty busy.

One other unconnected BKK tip, if a helpful passer by informs you that
the Grand Palace is closed for a ceremony until later that day - do not be taken in - this is a common tactic to get you into a TukTuk to go to some shopping place.
