If ever a hotel earned the description "tired" it was the Amari Boulevard. Our room was awful to the point of disgusting. The carpets were worn, the colours were dated and looked sun bleached but the main thing was the bathroom. Cleaning was done with little attention to detail and it just wasn't that nice. To be honest, it was so awful I didn't even dare to take a bath for fear of germs but stayed with showers instead. There was mould and rot in the floor step and it was just awful, really. The breakfast buffet offered everything under the sun from sushi to curry to croissants but the quality was awful, most of it tasted bland and boring and it was hard to find anything that was really good. Staff was nice but we'll not stay here again, it was not pleasant. The only good thing about it was the location. It's right by Nana station on the Sky train and there are lots of good restaurants in the areas and a very lively night life.
