“Excellent Property for an Off-Airport Transit Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

In reading this review, please bear in mind that we paid only $25 per night for this property. More-over that included an airport shuttle transfer both ways, and a free breakfast for two. At that price-point, this was a fabulous stay.

Transfers: We arrived at about 2100. We had called ahead, and were told to find the contact person at Gate 4 on Second floor. It took us perhaps an extra minute to find the person, because the person had a resort name on paper - not as professional as some of the others. But the person we met was very courteous. We were told we may have to wait for 15 minutes for shuttle, but it actually arrived within 5 min. The transfer took 10 odd minutes and the driver helped in loading/unloading luggage. For the return transfer, there are set timings (once an hour) that we had to choose from. We changed our mind about the shuttle timing, and the hotel had no concerns accommodating us. The driver again was very courteous, got a trolley even before we could get down and loaded up our luggage on it

Location: The hotel is situated in a narrow lane and it can create a few apprehensions about the quality of the hotel as you are driving in. Moreovere there is the railway track, the airport link sky train right behind it, and the Bangkok-Chonburi express way a few meters away behind. This does create high noise levels everytime a train passes, or a heavy vehicle speeds on the express way

Check In : The check in is through a small window, kind of dealing with a service counter - so do not expect an open spacious reception. The process itself was smooth and quick. Our rooms were on third floor (ground + 2) and in absence of elevators, the staff carried our somewhat heavy luggage up the stairs.

Rooms: The hotel looks new (or has a fresh paint coat) and has fairly spacious room. We had requested for and got a room with a queen size bed and there was considerable moving space in the room. The bathroom on the other hand is surprisingly small, with the shower area just being a niche which is less than a foot (30 cm) deep and about a foot and half wide. It has an instantaneous water heater which worked quite well, though the pressure could have been better. The basin has no hot water - but given Bangkok temperatures thats a non issue. The room has an air-conditioner, ours kept creaking as if it would fall any minute - but other than that it worked well. There is a 30 inch LCD television - but the channel coverage has the same issues as any business hotel, I couldn't find anything I wished to see. The room could do with better sound proofing. We could hear every taxi/shuttle arriving. We also had a slightly boisterous group check in late in the night and we practically heard them all through arrival, check-in and their settling in their room.

Restaurant & Food : There is a Karaoke bar which was empty - so not sure if anybody actually uses it. The restaurant is neat and nifty - has a few tables outside next to a water trough with fish inside. We had a dinner on arrival, and the price was reasonable and the food quite tasty. The american breakfast was greasier than I would have liked, but what the heck it was free and quite filling. We also had a miscommunication with the staff on one of the breakfast (vegetarian, expecting museli, got eggs) - but I have had that experience elsewhere in Thailand and the only way to be sure is to point to the item wanted on the menu card

Business Center / Pool / Sauna / Massage etc : Has a few computers set out in a small garage like area - did not use them. The pool is more like 4 bath tubs arranged next to each other, so its not really meant for a swim. There is a sauna that may accommodate two - though not sure as to how its billed. There is a fish tank, which doubles up as fish spa if you are the kind who would wish to experiment at this location

Room Tip: No elevators so pick lower floor if you dont climb stairs. But then noise could be higher

The hotel shuttle picked us up from the airport within 1/2 hour of us arriving. The hotel is up a small lane approx. 10-15 mins away. Check-in was quick & easy & we were on the 3rd floor but keep in mind there are no lifts. The room was very spacious, everything in good working order & the bed comfy enough, & a good shower, however, outside the back balcony doors there were large green ponds that were quite smelly. No problems with the doors closed. There was a lovely small swimming pool out front, which was almost in the Hotel car park, but it was nice & clean, right next to the restaurant. We had dinner there & it was nice enough & a reasonable price. The hotel price also included breakfast & this was basic but adequate. The staff throughout the hotel were nice & the restaurant staff very friendly. We had a reasonable nights sleep, it was quiet enough, however if you were at the pool end of the hotel it is right next to the rail lines so could be very noisy. In the morning the shuttle was to take us back to the airport but I asked if this was near the bus station. Although a language barrier, to our surprise we were told to stay in the van when they did the airport drop offs & the driver took us straight to the local bus station which was slightly out of his way. This was very convenient for us & saved us a lot of precious time so we really appreciated this extra service. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in transit due to the proximity to the airport & the extra services provided from the hotel for the cost. We would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room further away from the rail lines.

The compliment shuttle for airport transfer worked out well as what it promised in its website. Room conditions are moderate and clean. The staff are helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for those who is stopping over at Bangkok for transit (overnight).

I had 2AM flight so I decided to stay here. I recommend booking with round trip transfers to the airport. Because the hotel is far and no convenient store nearby.
There a SMALL swimming pool or I should say dipping pool lol.
Anyway, it's still in a good shape nice and clean room.
So you can take a nap and take a shower before heading to the airport.

Hotel staff is very nice. I forgot my laptop bag at front desk. A personnel knocked at my door and deliver it to me :) I really appreciate that.

The not so good:
not so clean towel
food isn't the best and a bit over price.
loud noise from airport rail link and trains

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights whilst we had some business to take care of in Bangkok. The hotel itself was not too bad. The swimming pool was a bit on the small side as were the rooms. The airport rail link was just overhead right next to the hotel so it was a bit noisy at times. The main road was quite far from the hotel so not able to easily reach local shops without taking a motorbike taxi or a really long walk. We probably wouldn't stay here again when traveling with children.

Booked on another booking site. Advertised free airport transfers...actually cost 150 baht each way. No extras as advertised like spa etc. saying that lace is clean and efficient. Good for a short stopover but just as cheap if not cheaper to get sky train into BK so in future would prob do that.

My boyfriend and I were arriving into Bangkok airport very late so I booked in here for 2 nights before we headed south to the islands. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel for 200 baht. (A company priced the journey at 800 baht which I thought was crazy expensive so we went downstairs to where all the regular taxis are and got it for 200).

When we arrived at the hotel @ 1am the staff were v.friendly & efficient. Although we did have a slight problem with ordering room service, we ordered food and 3 hours later it still never arrived. Ah well, sometimes in the best of places these things can happen! :)

The food in the restaurant is lovely. Very quick and friendly service. The pool is small in size but nonetheless it was enjoyable!!

A taxi from the hotel to the main train station cost 285 baht including tolls.

All in all it was a lovely start to our time in Thailand!
