“Red & Gold”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW

This is the main temple in the Chinatown area, and the best time to see it is at night when the dark of the night brings the red and gold colors of the temple to life. The place is buzzing and its a good place to see Monks and worshipers stop and pray before carrying on with their normal lives.
The gold statues are very impressive, it is really worth stopping here and spending even just 30 minutes to look around. Light a candle while you are here and donate a little for the temple!

“If You're Nearby, See It”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2015

This is a good place to see if you are in the area, but I did not find it to be a place I would want to take a long ride to see by itself. It is a busy, working temple. Compared to some of the other Bangkok wonders, it is not a highlight, but it was not designed to be a tourist attraction, nor is it its purpose.

“A nice Chinese Buddhist temple”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2015

This temple is one of the largest Chinese Buddhist temple that Bangkok have. If you come to China town it's worth looking at. I come here once a year during the Chinese New Years celebration. The temple is incredible crowded then. And a lot of action is going on. Perfect for me that is a photographer.

“It's all about timing.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2014

The temple, situated in the middle of Chinatown, is quiet during late morning, allowing tourists to explore the corners, sculptures, and passages. Arrive before lunch, spend some time here before heading out to try famous street vendors in Chinatown. Or you can visit during weekends and enjoy watching the crowds.
