“A cute place with great food in the Thai neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

We got to know Mac and Noi via airbnb and rented their condo. After I arrived in Bangkok, Mac met me in the bistro, which is around the corner from Robinson's center and not too hard to find. The place is funky and comfy, with a few tables, couches, and large chairs. Mac makes great margaritas with local fruits and their chef makes excellent Thai dishes and pizza. They even have salads, which are rare in typical Thai restaurants.

We ended up eating pizza two nights in the row, it was that good. Mac and Noi can tell a lot about local dishes. A little fact: Mac's mother provided a recipe for pizza that is excellent. The place is clean, fun, and very welcoming. The service was good too.

“To Die For”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Literally bumped into Mac along the street and followed him back to this absolute gem of a restaurant didn't know what to expect, but this delivers on every level. ordered the passion fruit mojito on mac"s recommendation then ordered another straight after, simply the best mojito I have ever had! We then ordered what seemed like half the thai dishes on the menu and we couldn't decide and it was so reasonable, some of the best Thai food we have eve had and we eat it in abundance.

Yiu could not beat this restaurant if you tried, it should be no.1 on trip adviser. Hospitality superb!!!!

“Best Northeaster Thai food and cocktails in a chilled setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

This is a fantastic little restaurant/cocktail bar in a quiet backstreet of Bangkok. A true gem! Noi and Mac are incredibly kind, welcoming and excellent guides. Mac makes tremendous cocktails, while the chef makes the best Northeastern Thai cuisine I've ever tasted! This is THE place to go and return to if you're alone in Bangkok or if want to share a really good meal and have fun till late in the night with your pals on a budget!

“Awesome food, great people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Cozy bar, serving very good food, both thai and international (the pizzas are a must-try!), as well as great cocktails at a very affordable price, and away from the main tourist areas. The owners are very friendly and will certainly help you get the most out of your stay in Bangkok; if you're looking for a place to stay, they also have a guesthouse and a few rooms for rent nearby for a very reasonable price, once again in the more quiet (and safer) areas of town.
Overall a very nice place to come and chill for the evening if you want to get away from hectic Thanon Khao San and the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas.

“Cozy bar with excellent food nestled in a low-key part of the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

We met Mac walking on the street one evening. After a bit of trouble navigating Bangkok's myriad of identically named streets in this area, we found this place.

The food was excellent, particularly a fried tofu dish we ordered. They had fresh passion fruit this evening, and our iced passion fruit mojito was superb.

Highly recommended.
