The owner of La Buca is an Italian man from Milan. He made our experience a wonderful one - from the atmosphere he creates to the service he provides to the food he makes, it was a fabulous dinner all around.
In relating to many of the Thai places where a person can eat, this is a little more spendy. However, let's not forget that he imports his buffalo milk mozzarella cheese for the Caprese salad from Italy. The lamb is from New Zealand, the beef from Australia. He is authentic in his flavors and is proud of how hard he works to be authentic, as he has a right to be. Anyone not understanding that such authenticity is not always cheap should eat elsewhere, as you won't appreciate the experience and the food here.
