“Wonderful service, beautiful boutique hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2012

Stayed in a triple luxe room and was very pleasantly surprised with the two washing sinks, which saves us waiting time. Big room with three separate wardrobes, three super single beds, sofa, two tv, two aircon! Each bed has two pillows! There is free ten minutes foot massage for each guest.

Only problem is the bathroom does not give you 100% privacy. The sliding door cannot be locked and there is a little gap. So you need absolutely trust with your friends! Room has free wifi, each password caters to only one device.

Breakfast had a small buffet serving breads, cheese, pancakes, soup, ham, sausage, eggs, salad and fruits. Coffee is great - strong! Love the fresh fruit juices served in cute glass bottles! They can also cook special orders like congee, eggs cooked the way you like them etc.

Service is perfect in this hotel! From the front desk to the restaurant! Pek is a very nice lady and her service was exemplary. Staff speaks good english too. Impressed with their service - I postponed my booking from oct11 to feb12 due to the flood and the staff gladly changed my dates with no charges!

Location wise, it is at national stadium stop, about 5min walk through a small road which may seem dark due to absence of street lamps. But along the way there is small hotels and restaurant, this provides lighting and makes you feel more secure. Hotel provides free tuk tuk to nearby locations. Tesco is a good 15min walk though. Take a tuk tuk back from tesco as only tuk tuk can turn into the small one way road (going against direction of the road).

Newly opened for less than a year, great quiet boutique hotel! Do get the location details in thai from the hotel as many cabs are unfamiliar. Meter fare from airport is thb250 depending on traffic, plus thb50 surcharge and toll.

Location - A stones throw from the BTS skytrain. MBK, Discovery and Paragon malls.
Rooms - Modern, clean and comfortable with some great little touches.
Food - Breakfast buffet was plentiful, and if they didn't have it, they would gladly make it for you.
Staff - Easily the best part of The Lit. Smiling. Friendly. Helpfull and no request was too hard for them to fulfil. From the security men to the door men, reception and restaurant staff. They were all excellent.

Overall a great hotel

Room Tip: Taxi's, tuk-tuks and great street food at the end of the lane in front of the hotel towards MBK

When the cab from the airport turned down an alley at midnight, me and my lady were like, "what the what". Then we saw the Lit hotel and that minor moment of sketchyness was gone forever. This place is a fantastic boutique hotel.

The location is perfect. You are about a block and a half from the National Stadium stop on the Skytrain. Get day pass and go everywhere you want to go. It makes navigating a very busy and complicated city all the more easier.

The design and flow of the rooms are really quite nice, and are very relaxing. The service is impeccable, and the team here will do whatever they can to help you out. The free breakfast is pretty good and much much better than the typical free breakfast you get at most hotels.

If you are in to spas and massages (like my fiancee is) do yourself a favor and make an appointment at the hotel's spa (Kiriya). My fiancee said it was the best message and spa treatment she ever had. It's a bit more expensive than places on the street, but sometimes quality and experiences is more important than saving a few bucks.

Overall i would highly recommend the Lit hotel to anyone plaining on staying in Bangkok.

What a perfect place to end our 3 weeks family vacation in Thailand!. Not expensive, brand new hotel only a few steps from national stadium station on the skytrain (bts) and from the MBK shopping mall. A luxury bathtub with good smell soaps. As a 5 members family we stayed in two rooms that were super clean with a pretty good smell. Beds are big and super comfy. Everything is super clean and smells good. A Free Wi-Fi connection and a big desk to do work at. As we arrived, we were welcomed by a very friendly staff, the bellboy, the reception and the rest of the crew. Breakfast is really good, with a nice view to the pool which is very specially designed. We found the staff very helpful at all times we stayed at Lit Bangkok, especially when we lost our son bag and figured out it stayed at the taxi that drived us from the airport two days before. The stuff (especially and MU) made extra efforts to locate and find the driver who arrived to the hotel to returned us the lost bag. It was precious bag as our son’s diary was in it. We deeply thankful for all efforts!
Definitely a hotel we will stay in future visits in Bangkok and we recommend to all travelers as well!

Room Tip: Our rooms at the forth floor were good

This is a fantastically designed hotel with a great staff in a good location short walk from the skytrain. Best hotel we (family of 3) stayed on our Thailand trip - wish we had been able to stay there longer! The sadness of leaving Railay quickly disappeared when we got to the LIT. Room, food, pool, cocktail deck, service, etc. was all perfect. Great to see every detail designed, even down to the custom sugar packets with LIT name and tiny print of sugar ants. I envy the architects and other designers who got to work on it. Fun area to explore too - there's bustling shopping malls, fashion focused street market, canals, Jim Thompson house, etc.
