“Nice enough but far away from city centre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

The main problem with this hotel is its location. It is a 20/30 minute walk from the station which in the heat if you have bags is pretty far so a better option is a motorbike-taxi ride. The metro station is itself is maybe 8 or 9 stops from the centre of Bangkok. The hotel provides a golf buggy lift oneway to the station for an hour or two (can't quite remember) in the morning and also in the afternoon, otherwise you need to walk to the station as there are no motorbike taxis waiting at the hotel (unsure whether they could call some for you). Taxis are a little reluctant to go out there from the centre as well. One morning we were there the buggy was not available which was irritating.

Apart from that it is a nice place. We paid for a triple room, with the assumption that the odds were the remaining bed would remain empty. Very clean room, clean shared toilets and showers. TV area in reception where you can watch dvds. Staff pretty friendly and helpful. If we went back to Bangkok though, we would probably stay somewhere more convenient for trips to the centre as I don't think it is cheap enough to warrant the "commute".
