I stayed here with my family for 9 nights in early April 2012. The reason I chose this hotel was because it was extremely close to the location of our wedding venue.
The hotel itself is nice and modern and clean & the price of the rooms seems just about right at 750bht per night. There's a small collection of places to eat on this soi and a 7-11 at the end of this soi.
Although the hotel was fine and we had no issues with anything, I would not stay here again. The reason for this is the location. Due to the terrible traffic in Bangkok it always makes sense to choose a hotel centrally. This hotel is not central and I would see no reason to choose this hotel unless you need something specific in this area. There are many other hotels as good as this for a similar price which are more centrally located. These will give you more freedom for shops and moving around on BTS/MRT & taxis.
Getting to the hotel from the main airport (Suvarnabhumi) took two and a half hours. It also took and hour to get to the smaller airport (Don Muang). Getting to BTS/MRT was not too bad, but getting back to the hotel did present a challenge. Most meter taxi drivers would not take me, because the traffic was so bad. They said it wasn't worth the 50 bht they would make.
All in all. The hotel was fine. But due to its location and traffic congestion in Bangkok I would think twice about staying here unless you have a specific need to be in this area. Been stuck in traffic for about 3 hours a day is not my idea of fun.
