“Delectable dishes with impeccable service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

We requested our hotel to make lunch reservations for my wife and I as it was my birthday. The Tom Yum Talay was absolutely divine as well as the Chicken with Cashews, however, the only dark spot here was the failure of the waitress to take down properly my order for Steamed Seabass. As we were enjoying the soup and the chicken dish, I asked how much longer the fish would take, and that is when we discovered the slip up :-(

The charming lady behind the counter (she must be the owner) who arrived shortly after our orders were taken apologized profusely for the miscue, and so did the waitress, and the lady offered to place the order for us, albeit much delayed, which we politely declined as we had gotten full from the delicious food already served to us.

What capped this wonderful gastronomic experience was the surprise treat that the lady made for me, an iced melon concoction, that was a fitting end to our experience here.

We wanted so much to return for dinner to order the Steamed Seabass, however, we did not have time anymore, so we just have to settle with the longing to return to Feung Nara on our next visit to Bangkok.

If you are ever in the Silom Area, do not fail to stop here, it's a visit you will not regret. The prices are very reasonable, too!

“Cozy restaurant and excellent food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

Had a very good Thai dinner at this cozy place. Not easy to find but the locals pointed us to the place, only 2 minutes walk from the Chong Nongsi BTS station. The food is delicious, moderately priced and service was very attentive. Staff was ready to assist with recommendations. The Tom Yum soup was excellent, the Green Curry was memorable, and we enjoyed the Pad Thai noodles. Highly recommended to those looking for good, authentic Thai food.

“Nice food, great place for dinner”

Very cozy environment with great Thai food. Must try the Thai style steam whole fish (caution hot). The tom yam gung soup is also worth a try.

“Cozy and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Allways pleasant to find a new place which match your prefernces. We staid in W Bangkok and were having a late night walk around . When we saw this palce were firstly attracted my it's stylish exterior dezign (like old style dacha). When we entered and opened menu - the prices also made us suprised - they are very reasonale for such location (close to North Satorn rd. so called "Bangkok's wall street"). all food we had ordered - was excelen and without "adjinomoto" (it means without artificial taste supliers). Our kids did not want to eat thai food, we've ordered spagetti carbonara (menu consists also of western dishes). Spagetti were no worse than in Italian restaurants

“Nice setting, excellent service, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Located just metres away the BTS Chong Nonsi station, away from the busy main road, this restaurant is a pleasant little oasis for a good dining experience. It is simple yet stylish, with the white wooden finishing of this refurbished old house giving it a distinctive character.
The food is pretty standard Thai fare (yes, catering somewhat more for the farangs), but it still makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Well-managed and friendly, attentive staff provide unobtrusive service. Try their coconut smoothie - nice!
