We requested our hotel to make lunch reservations for my wife and I as it was my birthday. The Tom Yum Talay was absolutely divine as well as the Chicken with Cashews, however, the only dark spot here was the failure of the waitress to take down properly my order for Steamed Seabass. As we were enjoying the soup and the chicken dish, I asked how much longer the fish would take, and that is when we discovered the slip up :-(
The charming lady behind the counter (she must be the owner) who arrived shortly after our orders were taken apologized profusely for the miscue, and so did the waitress, and the lady offered to place the order for us, albeit much delayed, which we politely declined as we had gotten full from the delicious food already served to us.
What capped this wonderful gastronomic experience was the surprise treat that the lady made for me, an iced melon concoction, that was a fitting end to our experience here.
We wanted so much to return for dinner to order the Steamed Seabass, however, we did not have time anymore, so we just have to settle with the longing to return to Feung Nara on our next visit to Bangkok.
If you are ever in the Silom Area, do not fail to stop here, it's a visit you will not regret. The prices are very reasonable, too!
