“Bargain hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Transport was the easiest. I'd recommend to take either the Airport rail link or the MRT to Sukhumvit station from the airport and walk from there. No use taking an expensive taxi.

And take out a hotel card in case you want a taxi to drive you back, those dudes' English is darn poor and communication is very hard.

If you're going towards Pratunam Market, if you want to take a taxi, cross the road and take it. Otherwise the one way system will drive you all round town.

When coming to the hotel from Sukumvit station, take the Don Muang exit so that you dont need to cross the road.

Included breakfast is from the Chokdee restaurant next door. The hotel has no kitchen. But the food was ok.

I stayed in this hotel because I was leaving Bangkok in a few days and I needed someplace close to the airport but with access to the City Line (Airport Express Train). The airport hotels don't have this and tend to be more expensive. My FX room was decently priced and it also had easy access to the subway. The restaurants in the area are limited but a 90 second ride on the subway brings you to Sukhumvit Road and Terminal 21. I even walked to Terminal 21.

This hotel is quite new, and although the room isn't that spacious as i expected, and also limited by the noise because of its location adjacent to the main road. However, it has a very good location because only 3 mins walk to the airport link station and the nearest MRT station - Pretchaburi. From there, Sukhumvit areas (shopping malls and Phratunam market) only 1 station to go. It is very convenient to go other places as well, if you are travel Bangkok mainly by MRT or BTS skytrain. I would recommend to stay in this hotel again, if you are on business or leisure trip.

Its a good stop over hotel, but no proper resturant near by , but ofcoures well connected with Rail network . We were there for 2 night and the management was kind to upgarde two twin suite , which was a nice guesture . The Hotel biggest negative point is absence of a returant or a gym . I have seen pepole writing about the difficulty of getting cab , but for us it was sorted out by the door man , if he was not there it would have been a bit of husle . please carry a proper address of the hotel its just near to the rail terminal Unico Premier MetroLink that would be the right address , as cab drivers can be really nasty with you.

I think its pretty decent and not as bad as what some reviewers have commented. The room was clean. There's a dim sum restaurant located just beside the lift at level 1. 7/11 is just outside the hotel and the Petchaburi MRT station is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There was this male staff (in his 30s-40s) whom we thought was the friendliest in the hotel and he advised us on where and which transport to take on our designated location for 4 days!

Here's the negative part of the hotel:
1.) Staff was friendly only to Caucasians than to Asians but it didn't bother us that much
2.) There are no closet for you to keep your clothes. Only a black bar with 4 hangers if you are staying in a double room. and it was quite frustrating as we do not have enough space to keep and hang our clothes
3.) The walls and partitions were pretty thin and you can hear foot steps and noises outside the room.

Room Tip: Here's a few tips: 1.) Take the tuk tuk back rather than taxi because the tuk tuk drivers se...

I was only passing through Bangkok for one night and had booked this hotel without knowing much about it. I'd had some fairly average experiences before this one in other places and was delighted to find that my room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with extras which, for the price, were a bargain. I would advise anyone to print out a map, and put the Thai translation of the address on it too as although it is right near Phetchaburi MRT station I had four taxi drivers refuse to take me as they didn't know where it it was before I got one who would. AND, I had a map and the Thai address!

Eating is in the diner next door which was rather plastic but did the job. The location is ok as it is near the MRT but it's quite a long way out from the centre and the river.

Reception staff were very helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the higher floors on the main road side as you get a view down towards the city wh...

Extremely affordable accom ($40/night), large room, clean sheets every day and very clean bathroom. Not much to be said about their service as we hardly interacted with them. Close to Phetchetburi station (3min walk) and there is a 7-11 next door. Inside the room there is no decoration no aircon on the levels (but has it inside the room), but for $40/night I can't complain too much!
