“at this price, this hotel is hard to beat.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

A bit far from the main road, about 2-3 minute walk, away from busy road means less noise(less taxi too so book a taxi in advance if needed) true siam is really quiet, so you can get much needed rest. the room we stayed is super clean, and spacious, the only drawback here is i didn't like the pillow, its feels over-inflated and uncomfortable. The restaurant also served good food at affordable price. and oh yeah. And one last thing, free blazingly fast, WIFI.

We stay in True Siam Hotel for 5 days in Sept. 2013. It will take 5 mins by walk from BTS Phaya Thai Station, near a Pullman and a DFS shopping mall. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a balcony. If you enjoy the metropolitan of Bangkok, and want to find a convenient & economical hotel, this hotel will not let you down.

Room Tip: very big rooms from entry level

We followed Google street view to find this place beforehand, and located it precisely when we actually arrives.

The hotel is deep in an alley, you can take the No.4 exit of the BTS Phaya Thai Station, which is also the last stop of the airport rail link, then go across the street to find the alley. The best part is that this hotel is really convenient for people catching flights, and it is also convenient to travel around the city by BTS.

The hotel is well-decorated with Thai traditional elements, the staff here is very welcoming and nice, everything in-room is in order, and you'd enjoy staying here.

we stayed in the True Siam hotel and we were really good. The place is very original, well maintained and very clean. The rooms were very clean and spacious rooms have everything you need with air conditioning, fridge, kettle with complimentary coffee and tea. The staff is really nice and friendly. They are always willing to help in anything you need. Thank you so much all the staff and I hope to return again!

Comfortable room to get a good night's rest. Liked the uncarpeted floors - gives the room a clean and bright look. However, no vanity space for toiletries in the bathroom.
Although the hotel is situated down an alley, it is safe and sufficiently lit to walk at night. Located near Victory Monument BTS and Playathai BTS with a lot of street food and convenience stores around.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter - can only hear the noise of the buses in the bathroom, but not in the roo...

the location is amazing. 5 mins walk to the train stations, and 3 mins to shopping mall. by the way, lots locals street-food-restaurants sounds the hotel, so, u need not worry about your appetite.

Also, the staff is extremely helpful. the speak good English and kindness. you may ask any questions u want. the reception made some suggestions for my trips, and shared the techniques of "negotiating price". haha.

The wifi service is good, the room is so clear, and the breakfast is so so so so so so amazing. you cannot miss it.

We took a value package and we ended up in this hotel. The hotel is near Phya Thai station. But it is down a alley that is not very conspicuous. The hotel was in the middle of rundown buildings and the hotel itself had a ancient facade. The breakfast was very rudimetary. The bed was just as hard as the floor and the rooms were dingy. The only saving grace was the hospitality.
