Small hotel & front desk with friendly staffs
10 minutes walking to BTS Station to city, or Railway Station to Airport
Neat & Big Room for 3 adults & 1 baby, but no ventilation fan in toilet, luckily no bad smell!
Free wifi but weak signal in our room. 1Notebook in Front Desk (I think it is free to use!)
Located in the middle of a lane between 2 roads. Better find out how to go there when going there for the first time.
Feeling safe around the hotel during day time, but "dark" during night time. And this lane is traffic busy, need to be careful!
Shops & FamilyMart are near.
Stayed 3 nights there. So far so good!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2011

Stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of April 2011. I must say it's an excellent place to stay. Took the skytrain straight from the airport to the Phaya Thai stop. Hotel is a short 5 minute walk from it.

The hotel itself is pretty new, looks great from the outside and inside. Rooms are very clean and well furnished. Bathroom is equally clean. In-room safe, mini bar, and a flat screen are all provided.

The front staff and even the cleaning staff are all extremely nice and friendly, always smiling. They are always more than willing to help you with whatever you need.

Wi-fi was good and strong even up on the 7th floor where I was at. Despite the location being close to the city, it still remains very quiet. You won't be able to hear the outside noise from your room.

There's a nice bar in front of the hotel, with a restaurant in the back. Only downside that I could see is the food, it's average, but there tons of places to eat close by. Just down the same ally, there are many street food hawkers with delicious little BBQ snacks and meats!

Overall, this is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. I definitely will be staying here on my next trip to Bangkok.

When we first arrived at the hotel..our impression was not that good as the hotel was located at the back of an alley (exactly behind Siam City Hotel) but soon we realized there were food stalls at the end of the alley and BTS station is only 5-7mins away. The hotel is quiet and the staff were extremely helpful especially in getting us a cab that use meter. No aircon in the corridor but it doesnt matter as we can still blast the aircon away in the room. Toilet is new and clean, room is big , bed is comfy , flat screen tv and mini bar. Breakfast buffet kinda boring and same menu for 3 days.. The only setback -no hairdryer or iron available even after request from housekeeping. Abit far from shopping area Pratunam which is not accessible by BTS unless we alight at Siam station and walk quite abit to get to Platinum Mall etc..taxi will cost around 50-60 bahts depending on traffic which is bad most of the time. I will stay here again if I want a quiet stay, will not stay here if I want to get around the city centre ..but then again its only 890bahts per night...I should not complain much :)

We have booked Deluxe Room for 2 nights. It was my first time in BKK and booking a budget/boutique hotel is quite a risk as I don't want my experience to be a nightmare.

But True Siam Hotel surpassed my expectation. The room was very spacious, neat and has attached balcony. Toilet is also very tidy.

The hotel is at strategic location, near BTS station (Phaya Thai & Victory Monument) and Airport link. Food stalls, convenient store and night market can also be found within a distance.

Hotel staffs are very helpful, though sometimes very difficult to understand in the way they speak.

Breakfast is so so. There were less choices and the menu did not change much the next day. Im a meat lover so im disappointed not to see bacon and ham on breakfast buffet.

But overall I loved my stay in True Siam Hotel. I will definitely come back and will recommend this hotel to everyone

Excellent site. It is convenient to reach both the airport and to all central sights. Pure and spacious numbers. The personnel is affable and sympathetic. The hotel is located in silent street. In steam of minutes from BTS metro station and airport link station.

Hotel is excellent for budget travelers.

• Location is fantastic for traveling on trains, just a short walk from Phayathai airport rail and BTS stations.
• Rooms are large and clean.
• WIFI connection is good (even though we're on 5th floor).
• Adequate breakfast buffet.

Only problem: After check-out, there are no shower facilities.
We had a lot of time to wander in Chatuchak market before our flight. But the hotel has no amenities nor the flexibility to help us arrange for one. We would have certainly appreciate it in the intense Bangkok heat.

This hotel location is good just opposite the BTS and walk into a small lane. I stay 4 days 3 night there. Hotel is super clean maybe is new. At night sleeping can hear people slamming door maybe the wall is thin.
the 2nd day the FREE drinking water is not filled and we make a complaint but within 5 minutes they replenish it.
