“Really Hansar, Really Happy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

The room with balcony is comfort and huge, Free minibar impossible in every hotels but Hansar is done!! Softdrink, beer, water, snacks.... whatever you can take in minibar for free and refill daily!! Wash machine, cooker, refrigerator, bath salt in room, free wifi access without password is so convenience.

Breakfast buffet is better choices and delicious!! Order breakfast, then chef or waiter served to my table directly, just enjoy my coffee and wait from my sit. i don't need to stand and wait for long time!!!

Hotel is very convenience and close to shopping mall and skytrain station. The staff very politely, efficiency and helpful!!! Overall Hansar is a very good hotel in Bangkok!!

Some opinion: I had more than 20 times to Bangkok. The taxi driver is a very big problem!! They always cheat to traveller. I think it is quite affect to traveller although not really expensive, but it is one of main public transportation except BTS and MRT for traveller. On that time, when i got the taxi try meters to airport from hotel, I need to paid 385bahts not included tollways when arrive airport according meters machine(The meters machine was re-equip) . but my experience told me that i paid 350 bahts, and the price was included 70bahts tollways and 50bahts taxi order fees from airport to Bangkok downtown, so i don't think i need to paid more than 300bahts because no 50 bahts taxi order fees from Bangkok downtown to airport!! The time isn't rush hours!!! I haven't bargain with taxi driver or call tourist police because rush to airport check-in, but I wish thailand hotels association should be reflect the problem to related departments in the future!!

Room Tip: High floor with balcony is better!!! Beware taxi driver!!! BTS and MRT can go many places include...

We stayed in Bangkok for 5 days and Hansar Hotel was an amazing experience!! From the minute you walk in the doors, the service is incredible. Everyone is so extremely helpful and friendly, and every one of your needs are met (nothing is denied!)
We stayed in the Studio suite which was bang for buck. Large suite, with huge bathroom, VERY comfy bed, complimentary bar fridge, 24 hr room service.
We met 3 amazing staff at Hansar hotel (Lucky, Oh and Mcnum), they were always looking to help and trying to make our time as pleasant as possible. Always willing to have a laugh and a chat.
We have really appreciated our stay here, as it has made our travel experience in Bangkok a really great one.

Thanks guys! And hope to see you soon!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hansar on a recent business trip to Asia.
This modern luxury hotel is well situated in the center of Bangkok and simply one of the best hotels in regards to it's tasteful/efficient design, calm zen like feel and warm/ knowledgeable staff.
The rooms are spacious and close to perfection, the lobby, lobby bar and restaurants just the right size for a "boutique" hotel and the pool (and gym) are right out of a contemporary design magazine (as is the hotel itself).
I stayed one night so only had time for the breakfast buffet and the selection was above par.
If you are looking for a wonderful experience for both a short or long term stay in Bangkok, do not hesitate to book the Hansar because it's a really an amazing private "oasis" and truly stands out amongst the crowd of 4/5 star hotels.
I know that I will be back as soon as I can find an excuse to return to Bangkok!!

Room Tip: Most of the views are not exceptional but I was lucky to have a room with a partial view of the park...

We arrived a little early and were greeted with a cool towel and drink, the man who checked us is was really friendly and told us we could check in early and our room was available, and we also had a late flight home so he also gave us a later check out time..

The hotel is very nice, I really liked the set up and thought it looked very slick.. I loved the open air theme even if bangkok air is not so clean and the colour scheme..
Our room was so big and I was quite suprised.. The bed was the comfiest I had stayed in during our two week stay and I'd give 5 stars on that only.. The shower had good water pressure and the bath was humungeous. Massive tv and the free minibar was very generous indeed..

The next morning we had an early tour so we Organised the breakfast box which had everything we needed.. Breakfast in the hotel itself was fine it was nice they cooked to order but the range was quite lacking of all the buffets experienced,. We also ate at the boco cafe and it was nice too...

The hotel is sooo central we walked to central world the biggest coolest shopping centre it only took 15 mins, and we caught th train to national stadium, Siam and atok, and other places very easy to navigate and cheap,. So that was a highlight of the location.. Lucky one of the door/concierge men helped us with a map and planning our day in the city, so Thankyou.

On the final day we used the pool which was a little off putting for me as its tile colour makes the water look murky so it's weird.. There is also a spa and sauna.. The gym looked good with new equipment..
We went to the luxsa spa for a 2.15hr couples treatment before checking out and the ladies were professional and we left feeling delightful my partner fell asleep during his so we was in deep relaxation I guess..

So Thankyou Hansar it was a exceptional experience staying with you, no dramas at all.. There was only one suggestion with The welcome drink, all the other hotels had a signature drink and we were served concentrate pineapple maybe jazz that up a bit.. Other than that ridiculous request, I loved the hotel and I'll be back..

Situated behind the Four Seasons in the convenient Rajadamri area, Hansar Bangkok is an imaginative boutique hotel, that stands tall among the Bangkok giants including the Oriental, Peninsula and Sukhothai. I rate it a 9.5. Service is fine, discerning, and true to the Thai tradition. Suites are appointed in exceptionally good taste with the added design element of an eco-friendly concept blended with the most sophisticated of conveniences and amenities. The sitting area is large and separated by both wall and a gorgeous sliding door. Bedroom area is compact, though hardly tiny with a mind boggling bathroom-dressing area once again constructed with openness and a sliding door to the bedroom. The suite is 70 sq. meter, and is as comfortable as a home. The infinity pool, fitness center are breathtaking. Food at breakfast is a delight. This is a fine addition to an already well cultivated hotel scene in Bangkok. Highly recommended.

Our last memory of the Hansar Hotel will be the smiling faces of Khun Oh, Mcnum &Lucky waving out to us as our taxi left for the airport. The team at the concierge desk is just one of the reasons why we so enjoyed our stay at the Hansar, albeit an important one. Khun Oh and his team are always ready to help, instructions, short cuts, places to visit, things to do. They are always happy to help.
The rooms are wonderfully large and well laid out. the studio suite we were in even had a washing machine in the little kichenette. A welcome facility to have at the end of the trip when you are running out of clean clothes!
Khun Santi manages the breakfast buffet with a smile and a cheery welcome. We would look forward to his cheery hello every morning.
Bangkok has many hotels and I have stayed at some of those but I think I have finally found "my" place in Bangkok. It's well located, just off the Rajdamri sky train stop.
Good price, great service, good food, great value and to top it all FANTASTIC staff. What more can a girl want!

Room Tip: The corridors are open to the outside so you fell less boxed in while walking to your room. It's...

We stayed here in September 2012 and found this to be the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. The facilities are first class, the rooms are HUGE, the breakfast superb (both in terms of range and quality - and especially nice sitting outside) and the staff very accommodating in all respects. The restaurant (café Boca) is more expensive than some of the more local haunts - but the food is also superb! In case it's of interest, the mini bar is also included in the price and each item is thus 'free' and replaced daily. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful in every respect and gave us great advice regarding tours and activities we considered. They also occasionally have room rates at up to 50% off the rack rate which makes it exceptional value.
It is a 2 minute walk from the monorail (and anything you would like to access for a very cheap rail ticket) and about 5 mins to the central shopping hub.

Room Tip: The design of the hotel (all rooms open onto an open building centre/garden) ensure wonderful air fl...
