“Good food, but expensive drinks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

The cheapest beer you can have here is a glass of draught Stella. Price Bath 160.
A glass of housewine, they charge you Bath 240.
But, that is not all. On the bottom of the menu it says:
Prices are exclusive 10% servicecharge and 7% tax.
So it ended up 280 Bath (US$9,40) for a sinple glass of wine. Cheers!!!!

“Good choice of beers, crowded”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

This place is normally quite crowded so if you dont plan ahead to beat the crowd most evenings you may be disappointed and not able to get a table or a spot at the bar to enjoy a nice imported beer.

The service is efficient and friendly, prices on the higher side due to the imported nature of most products which the Thai government tax heavily to try to discourage the locals from having a taste for imported products vs the locally produced beers..

Some of the tables are a bit rocky and need to be fixed... can be quite a bummer when you spend $12 for a beer and find beer tips over cause their tables are not steady,....

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

I love HOBs..always good service, good beers, good food and always hopping. It fills up quick the later it gets so you need to get there semi-early. Good place to watch football as well. the crowd gets right into it. A fave of mine and I'll always go back.

“Belgium beers and food!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

As a Belgian it's very nice to drink beer from tab as "Hoegaarden" and "Leffe" or trappist beers in Bangkok!
They serve on a original way some belgium food as fries , beef stew, mussels,....
Surprised there were a lot of Thai costumers drinking 1/ 2 liter Hoegaarden!!

“Good food, beer and a fun place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

The menu is very limited and that don't have any desserts at all but the sandwich I had was good. I'm usually not a big fan of french fries but the ones that came with the sandwich were better than average and the small salad that also came with the order was also good. This restaurant is in a fun area of Bangkok with many other places to try if this one doesn't have a seat available.

I just noticed that the address Tripadvisor lists for this restaurant is Sukhumvit Soi 57 but it is actually Soi 55, which is also known as Thonglor. It's at Thonglor Soi 16.
