The Sivatel is a lovely hotel located in central Bangkok.
The rooms are beautifully appointed and quiet.
The infinity pool and restaurant area is a real must see - great views and ambience.
Staff are terrific - typically Thai (helpful, friendly and always smiling).
We would highly recommend the Sivatel for a short, medium or long term stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the infinity pool and British Embassy (west facing).

We stayed 3nights at Sivatel and can only recomend this great hotel in the heart of Bangkok. We tasted both restaurants and the food and service was geat. Very good breakfast. Swimingpool is amazing. We had massage at the SPA and it was a great expérience. Wifi is free and very good quality. We stayed at the 23th floor, at Regal suite, that we can only recomend. Great people, very nice stay!

We were recommended the Sivatel by friends who had stayed there recently and enjoyed the spacious rooms which are suites by any standard. We traveled with my 25 year old nephew so we wanted a separate bedroom for him. Consequently we chose a 2 bedroom suite which was actually 2 separate Hotel rooms with a single entrance for when there is a family - great as we had 2 bathrooms and a large lounge area. The Hotel facilities are fairly good but there are a few things that could be easily improved to take this property to greater status. The pool is lovely and there is a built in pool bar, however it is not used by the Hotel. Guests that smoke sit there and party on without intervention by the staff. There is also a lovely looking garden area by the pool next to the bar but it was roped off during our entire stay. The breakfast area was adequate and the food pretty standard - often cold however. The downstairs restaurant is good value but needs a face lift. The staff were very attentive and put on a Thai themed evening while we were there which was very nice. The overall feel of the Hotel is good however we felt that there could be some general tidying up - there are rooms near the gym with odd bits of furniture in them not in use - the same for some rooms in view near the Business center. The gym had minimal equipment for a Hotel of this size and a major piece of equipment was marked 'out of service' the entire time we were there - it was a weight bench with free weights?? To be 5 star the Hotel needs to up there game on lounge and restaurant offerings. Great location, great staff and huge rooms.

Room Tip: The rear rooms are quieter at night. The front rooms face a busy road. Go for a 2 bedroom if you hav...

Stayed 5 nights at Sivatel, the crew was lovely and professional, spa and gym are nice, treatments are of high quality and very professional, the pool is large and long ideal for a morning swim, located next to the sky train which makes things easier.

Top quality amenities. Apple TV with on screen web browser. The fastest internet from any hotel I have ever stayed! Great location if you have business in the embassy district. Close to the Plenchit BTS train station. Taxis are hard to come by because hotel is off of the main thoroughfare. Breakfast was good. Not great, not poor but good. I would stay here again.

Sivatel definitely upgraded my whole visit to Bangkok. Outstanding service, great rooms and location. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
Make sure you checkout the pool and the Tom Yum soup which is the best I had.
