“Wonderful hotel, wonderful view wonderful service, wonderful big room and great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

We can't fault anything on this beautiful five star hotel. We have been pampered as soon as we arrived at the hotel until we left.

The service was wonderful and attended to details. The room was wow. We booked a room with a lounge. It was like a luxury apartment, lounge and bedroom have city view, walk in wardrobe and a huge bathroom with a spa. Hotel also provide daily fresh fruits, macaroon and capsule coffee.

The included daily breakfast was wonderful. It has a huge selection of Western and Asian cuisines and of course the dining room is facing the city view.

The nearest BTS station is just around the corner and so are the shopping centres. There are lots of restaurants at the Central embassy shopping centre just opposite to the hotel.

The only downside is this hotel is in the upmarket area and we couldn't find a good local laundry (we did find 2 in the shopping centres but both take 4 days to do our laundry). We ended up doing laundry at the hotel, which was pricy.

We booked 4 nights at sivatel through agoda and it only cost around $150 AUD per night (not refundable).

It was just a wonderful stay every single minute we were there.

Highly recommended!!!

This hotel is the best thing i have seen in my whole life. Real luxury. Impossible to beat price, amazing location (close to the malls, in front of a BTS station to go everywhere, in the middle of Sukhumvit which is the place to stay in Bangkok). Rooms are wow, it's like a suite with a separate living room. 2 TVs. Classy furniture, amazing bed. But what is to die for is the VIEW: Open unobstructed view of the amazing Bangkok skyline. Huge glass roof to ground windows make the view amazing. you wake up to such a view from your bed, priceless ! Amazing bathrooms with a Jacuzzi like bath and another italian style huge shower room. Internet on the TVs too which you can control through a mobile keyboard. We stayed there for one night only, next time we are definitely staying there for our whole Bangkok stay. Price is really not expensive for what you get (We paid 110 euros a night) Great breakfast and amazing staff

Sivatel Hotel is perfect in many ways, first of all staff very nice and wellcoming, rooms stylish and modern, Pool one of the best in Bangkok and just 5 minutes walk to BTS trainstation.
The only thing breakfast could be better, for example Espresso for free and maybe Müsli!
Just beside the Hotel is the new Shoppingcenter Central Embassy, so for your Girl friend just 5 minutes walk to Prada store!!!!!
Will come back by sure!

Conveniently located in central downtown Bangkok, this friendly, clean hotel is a great place to stay. Boasting massive well equipped rooms this would be close to the best value for money Hotel I have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Book rooms with separate lounge, it's well worth the investment

I´ve stayed 3 times so far in this beautiful hotel in Bangkok. But just recently I started to post reviews on TA as I´d found reviews here really helpful and more detailed than ones posted on Booking.com. My last stay was in November 2012, but I believe there hasn´ t been any major change.

The location: as mentioned many times before, very convenient location close to Skytrain station Phloen Chit (approx 150 meters from the hotel), close to high end shopping malls (10 mins walk), 7eleven shop just across the road, nice and clean part of the city with embassies around. Nice undisturbed city views from all rooms. Hotel rooms located from 17th floor up.

First impression: extraordinary. Attentive staff in ground floor will open the door for you, will wellcome you, help you with your luggage, will go with you to the reception located on ?17th floor and will show you the room. Exactly as one would expect the service in top hotels.

Reception: pretty relaxed. I´ve never experienced any issues during check in/out. Quick, efficient, no queues. Cold towels, tasty wellcome drink, nice city views from the terrace located very close to the reception. Well trained staff with excellent English proficiency.

Room(s). Stayed in one bedroom Regal Suite (March 2012), one bedroom Grand Regal suite (November 2011) and two bedroom Regent Suite (November 2012). All rooms were extremely spacious with large floor to ceiling windows, nice furnishing, large and comfy beds and we had really good quality of sleep. Fast Internet throughout the hotel. I don´t watch TV, can´t comment on the TV channels selection. The domestic and room service fast and efficient. There are two large queen size beds in Grand Regal suite, really comfortable for a family with kid. Pricey minibar. No disturbing noises from corridors. Huge bathroom with top quality cosmetic products, no issues with water pressure.

Corridors: always clean with super finishing, decoration, always quiet.

Pool: large infinity pool located on 8th floor. Nice views from the pool, good for a swimming! Very clean, enough sunbeds and towels.

Breakfast: served on 8th floor either at the pool area (may be hot sometimes here) or in airconditioned restaurant next to the swimming pool. Wide choice of asian and western top quality food. Always impressed. No concerns whatsoever.

Extras: we were given vouchers for one drink per person per stay in the restaurant downstairs. Drink was fine but after the drink we moved somewhere else as the restaurant was too expensive considering you´re in Bangkok and London.

Staff: excellent, English proficiency well above asian average, always helpful, polite.

This hotel represents a great value for your money. If you want a 5star accomodation in a superb location in Bangkok for a price of 3 star average London hotel, go for it! There are "only" 75 suites that really helps to keep the hotel atmosphere pretty relaxed. Stayed in another 5star Bangkok hotels, but none met high standards of Sivatel Bangkok. Will surely return back if I´m in Bangkok. More than happy to recommend this hotel to anybody looking for excellent hotel for reasonable money.

Overall experience was incredible. Not exactly the choice we had in mind but it lived up to what we needed. The check in & out was smooth, concierge and the other staff were extremely helpful and kind. They guided us on the spot on places in Bangkok and arranged a few trips for us which was extremely lovely. If I had to comprise in 3 words, its "Value for Money".
Although the breakfast buffet didnt have a wow factor to it for a 5 star Hotel and I hope they can fix it. Besides that, its perfectly located. Will definitely staying here again.

Room Tip: Always choose the rooms on the top floors to enjoy a good view of the city.

We stayed a Sivatel for our second time in late April 2014.

Once again this place represents true value for money. The concierge and staff in the Porch restaurant are great and very service orientated. Only criticism would be that the service around the pool side is a bit slow and could be improved.

Great location close to BTS sky train Ploen Chit station.

We will be back for sure.
