“Terrific stay at the Shama . The best.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2011

This is an excellent property, perfectly located in between the JW Marriott and the Landmark. Walking distance to great restaurants, nightlife and shopping. The service was nothing short of excellent, the employees were incredibly helpful and respectful. The room was huge with a large balcony as standard, small kitchen, washer dryer. Spacious bathrooms and the cleaning service was perfect. I travel the world and have become very particular about my accommodations and at the same time believe that you shouldn't have to pay through the nose for quality,Shama met all of my criteria.
This was a business trip and we were able to use the lobby area for meeting no problem, very quiet. I will be staying here again for sure.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms, the higher floors 8 and above tend to have a better view as the all have gr...

Stayed for 3 nights in December 2011 ,
New hotel (summer 2010) fabulous surrounding , one side on the dirty scenery of Soy 4 , one side on the classy Soy 2 with Marriot.
Apartment well equipped (micro ' laundry machine , free WiFi in room , LCD TV ) , huge size of apartment , clean.
Great on-roof swimming pool.
Staff extremely helpful and polite.
Will stay here again if possible !

We stayed at the Sham during its soft launch period - we booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 7 days - we are a family of 3 and like to have a bit of space.

The apartments are spacious, furnishings are modern and comfortable, having a washer / drier in the unit made it possible for us to travel light. The gym is well equipped. The rooftop pool is of moderate size but its location on the rooftop makes an evening swim with the night lights of the city quite an experience.

When we stayed the breakfast offering was limited to a continental spread; would have been perfect if there was more variety and some warm food say omlettes...

The location is very central - although this part of Bangkok is somewhat mixed with 5 star hotels rubbing shoulders with less reputable facilities - I guess thats common with most parts of Bangkok.

Located in the heart of the shopping district, in between Terminal 21 on one hand and World Central at the other end, the three bedrooms suite is best for family get away in Bangkok. My children loved the swimming pool located at level 18 which offers a marvelous view of the busy city. Staff are nice though response is a bit slow at times.

Room Tip: The three bedrooms suites are fantastic for family get away. Just be aware that Soi 4 where the back...

Located in Soi 2 Sukhumvit, it is located rite behind JWMarriot, and nestled away from all the hustle bustle of the city traffic. An ideal location for family and friends to relax and chill. Extremely accommodating staff, though I did feel there were times there was delay in service, but then again, my requests are quite irrational at times, with me handling a stop watch to keep a track on house keepers sprinting. Jokes apart, an extremely beautifully thought out idea, that has been translated well with the correct feel and vibes.
