The Verandah is located in the five stars Hotel Mandarin Oriental at the ground floor. It offers all-day dining featuring a wide variety of Asian and Western dishes, all served in elegant contemporary Thai surroundings either indoors or outdoors on the banks of the Chao Phraya river.
The terrace is nice. Service is professional. The menu is various with thai specialities and international dishes (pasta, burgers or sandwichs, salads, grill, e.g.). At the beginning they brought a bread corb with butter and ask if I wanted water which I respond positively. The problem and I will noticed at the end with the bill, they brought me the more expensive water (BHT 220 for a 33cl) and compared to the price of the main course (BHT 490) is thinking the client as a "pig", which I don't like.
Except that, I choose the Cordon bleu with cheese and ham, mashed potatoes and red wine sauce. It was ok. But at the end very upset with the bill for the water price compared to all price.
Will not come back
