We were staying in the hotel and managed to eat dinner here almost every night. I'm not sure it would qualify as a destination restaurant, but it is good and very consistent. My husband had the wok vegetables with sticky rice every night and found it delicious and very satisfying. My grandson enjoyed this dish too. I love the Thai grapefruit salad which had a name that ends with "O." The service is excellent and the setting lovely. We ate inside, with air conditioning, but the outside terrace is romantic and picturesque. The have good wines by the glass and Western as well as Thai dishes on a very extensive menu. It is worth coming here for lunch or dinner, or even the breakfast buffet, just to experience the excellence of the Oriental Hotel.
