“Tower club!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2013

We stayed in tower club suite for 5 nights in November. The rooms are lovely and very big, the bathrooms great and not to mention the views! we were on the 58th floor. The tower club benefits are really worth the extra money, complimentary cocktails and the snacks were amazing and changed daily. The views from the top are breathtaking. It clearly states everywhere that there is a dress code however clearly this is not being enforced and unfair for people who do make the effort.

Breakfast was the best I have seen in a long time! There was something for everyone and high quality food, the selection of pastries and breads was huge.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful however check in did take quite a long time and there didn't appear to be anyone else checking in at the same time, it would have been nice to know that there were some delays or it would take a while. One thing to note is the lifts do take a very long time, before I booked I read this and thought it wouldn't be an issue but the amount of people who just take the lift to the top to have a look or go for dinner makes it very difficult to use the lifts, maybe one should be reserved for guests only as people do pay to stay there and should be able to get to their room hassle free and not have to squeeze in a lift with 25 other people.

It is a 5 minute walk to a sky train station and taxis and tuk tuks always out the front.

We did really love this hotel however and would recommend it to everyone, we will be back, definitely stay in a tower club suite.

Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and it was well organised hotel...great concierge service and great bfast.
the pool area is a bit small and crowded getting too many ppl there in a small area....
The location is great...the rooms are clean...we were even upgraded to a suite which was super big...the bar is nice but gets veru busy so you should reserve a table there...

This might be one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Coming from a hostel, we decided to have one fancy night in Bangkok and boy was it worth it.

The staff were all very professional, spoke great English, and were very respectful. Our room was on the 57th floor with a river view... wow. It's a little scary to stand on the balcony but once you get used to it, the view is incredible. And you can see the other side from some of the restaurants so you'll get to see the Silom skyline as well from the lounge.

Speaking of the lounge, that alone is worth the extra money to stay in the Tower Club. FYI, they are pretty strict about the dress code - I saw them turn a couple of people away (although my girlfriend got away with nice sandals). Anyway, the lunch buffet was amazing, again considering we were coming from a hostel, it felt like we were having a king's feast. But even as Americans who have gone to Vegas many times and have stayed in a fair share of nice hotels, the quality was top notch. Lots of fresh fruit, breads, and cold cuts. Interesting hot food, some fish and escargot, and of course free drinks including booze. And all of this with a stunning view of the city. It was very relaxing.

The room itself was very spacious, with a free minibar (sodas, waters, etc.) which was a nice perk. There's a small kitchenette with a microwave and stove, and a small entrance room with a couch and coffee table. The river view, as I already mentioned, is simply amazing. And how often do you get to sleep on a 50+ floor? The bathroom also was large, with a nice shower and decent size tub (but not a hot tub).

I also got a chance to use the fitness center and pool. Those were both in excellent condition and not crowded (on a Tuesday), although the pool is not a rooftop infinity pool like some of the other hotels, so if you're looking for that photo-op, that is elsewhere. Not that this hotel lacks those. Just the panoramic pic from my balcony is jaw-dropping.

At night we got to check out the Sky Bar and Oceans 52 bars. The drinks were very tasty and the views were incredible. One small issue is that the Tower Club has 3 elevators, which are also used by visitors of the SkyBar and other restaurants. So there were times where we had to wait a while to go up or down, and some of the elevators were packed on their way up past our 57th floor; I almost wish they had a separate elevator for guests. The staff seemed to be OK with us using the service elevator (used by the staff), which was nice but not the best solution.

To top it all off, the breakfast buffet was amazing. They had so many options including Cronuts and little personal jars of nutella.

We definitely did not want to leave the hotel. It is an iconic part of Bangkok - it's in the biggest building by SQ FT in SE Asia and you can see it from all over town, especially at night with the Golden Dome. It's definitely worth staying there and experiencing the luxury treatment and scenic views. Hopefully we'll get to come back soon.

We would highly recommend the Lebua Hotel as it met all our expectations and more. We stayed on the 56th floor, River View Suite. Fantastic views, huge comfortable bed, large bathroom, kitchenette and sitting room. Staff are to be commended, professional, courteous, friendly and very helpful and informative in all restaurants and bars. The breakfast selection is extensive. Dinner at Sirocco, level 64, alfresco, perfect night and excellent food. Thank you to our waiter Juan. Sky Bar lives up to its reputation although no photos are allowed for anyone including guests. Very disappointing. Breeze at night and during the day for canapés and high tea, very enjoyable. Hotel Lobby, best Apple Mojitos ever. Attention to detail in our room and bed turned down at night on our return. The hotel porters were most helpful and informative in organizing a taxi or Tut Tut to take us where we asked to go and a destination and return directions written on a card for the driver. Bangkok is an amazing place. One amazing and fantastic holiday. You are never too old for 'firsts'. Much appreciated Hotel Lebua.

Room Tip: Level 56, River View, quiet and view excellent. Ask Hotel to recommend and advise them of your requ...

This hotel looked amazing and really very cool and trendy. I specifically called to check it was family friendly and was assured it was.

On arrival I was surprised to be told that of all the gorgeous restaurants, the children could only go to one. Apparently for safety reasons.

When I spoke with the manager she insisted the policy was clear on their website, and maybe it is, but it should also have been told to me on the phone and we would simply have chosen somewhere else.

The one restaurant was nice enough, but limited in options for children. There's no specific kids menu, which is OK as long as there are some options. It took us a couple of days (and about four meals) to realise thy we had to order very specifically. Eg. no spice or pepper on the kids pizza, just plain steamed rice and fish. Once we worked this out it was easier (and the staff did try to help).

There aren't many chairs etc around the pool, and when we went everyone was trying to snooze, with no one in the pool. Two kids splashing around felt very out of place. There is no food served by the pool, despite the restaurant being right on the edge.

On the plus side the breakfast spread is amazing and kept us going all morning. And the two bedroom suite was great for the family (and even had another little room which had plenty of space for a fold out bed, basically giving a third bedroom).

This is a lovely hotel but really wasn't somewhere I was comfortable to have two children.

We were in our honeymoon, and decided to stay at the Lebua...one of the best choices ever..from the time we arrived until the time we departed we were treated regally..Upon arrival we were personally checked in by Kiki, one of the most funny, cute and knowledgeable front desk employee..the check in was quick and hassle free, despite some fellow reviewers, which say.." We were waiting in the lobby with no welcome drinks.."..may I just say that you were not waiting..this is the check in procedure at Lebua..You get Kiki..come on..what else do u want..anyway..we were shown around, also by Kiki..she explained how the lifts works and the breakfast..then up to our room at the 59 floor...the view is..........well...just see for yourself...the rooms are a bit outdated, but perfectly maintained..you have a fridge with free soft drinks and water..coffee and tee facilities..also free..so, for sure is worth it..
The best think they did, is that they put in our fridge a small delicious cake..and for my wife, gorgeous red roses bouquet..I mean..Come On guys!!!..love Lebua..
The breakfast is something else..you don't know where to go first...if you are not 300 kg and your stomach is small..you are missing out..so many choices..sushi, Chinese food live cooking stations...and I could go like that until I will be old and toothless..like Ketut from Eat&Pray &Love..well u get the picture..
The check out was a breeze..Tanut was excellent, kind, polite, and he prepared a take away breakfast for us, as we checked out early morning..He deserved a raise..Seriously...

So...Thank You Lebua Team for making a part of our honeymoon, unforgettable..
We will definitely be back soon..

Radu and Irina.
