Unfortunately I only had a very quick visit to the Siam Kempinski but it was perfect choice for a business trip to Bangkok. Great location right across from the Siam Paragon (a big shopping centre which also conveniently has has a bunch of different restaurants and a selection of street food type vendors the ground floor) and only a short walk from the nearby skytrain station.

The hotel rooms were large and exceptionally well appointed and free-wifi is standard but it was the little things like complimentary mini-bar, wake up service with coffee or tea and overall great service which set it apart.

We stayed at the Siam Kempinski for two nights at the end of our Southeast Asian trip and it was a very nice conclusion to our journey. This is a fairly new hotel so the cab drivers may not be familiar with the location yet. Our driver was circling the area for a good 10 minutes until we found it. The location is great though as it is located right next to the Siam Paragon shopping complex and is a fairly quick walk to the Siam skyway train. The hotel also offers a complementary golf cart shuttle service to the skytrain.

Reception staff were very warm and friendly which gave the hotel a nice personal touch despite it being such a big hotel. We had a very early morning arrival and knew that we would depart very early on our last day so the hotel was nice enough to allow us to have breakfast at the hotel on our first check-in morning rather than us taking a packed breakfast on our departure day.

The rooms were spacious and very well appointed. I also loved the pool area which was an oasis of calm in this hectic and busy city. What I liked the most about this hotel was how quiet it was at night! Our room was facing the pool area and you couldn't hear a thing at night in terms of street noise or other big city noises. This was really a pleasant surprise.

I also liked the little extra touches such as the fruit that was left in our room every night. One night I wanted to pick up some mangosteen to eat for dessert but then didn't come across a street vendor who was selling them. Then when we got back to the room, there was a bowl of mangosteens waiting for us! What a great coincidence! Oh, and I also liked that all minibar beverages, including Chang beer, were complimentary.

There are just too many good things to mention about this hotel and I will keep rambling on. I highly recommend the Siam Kempinski and am already planning a return for next year's Southeast Asia trip!

What an oasis In the heart of bustling Bangkok. You don't hear a sound from Bangkok's manic traffic. We stayed here 3 might, the rooms are spacious, beds super comfortable. A few paces to Siam Paragon, and the hotel buggy will take you to any neighbouring shopping centre.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have seen on our travels. Rooms in the garden wing are extra quiet, only 5 stories high.

Room Tip: Garden wing is extra quiet.

The hotel ia located right next to the Siam Paragon, which was the reason fir us to stay here. The rooms are very nice and the view over the pool facilities was nice and peaceful at night. The lobby is amazing and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was quiet crowded with lots of asian people and very loud which was a down side to start the day of quietly. Housekeeping once came late to clean the room 3PM, but otherwise we enjoywd our trip here.

What can I say about this hotel, I am blown away by its service, the quality of the food, the quality of the bed and the location.

This is really one of my top choices when I visit Bangkok.

The Siam Paragon is just next door. Love to shop at the Gourmet Paradise on the ground floor. Lots of premium quality of Thai pastes and Thai sauces.

Stayed at Siam Kempinski for two days for business. Good location next to Siam Paragon a shopping paradise. Rooms are nice and big. Very comfortable. Depending where they put you, the walk can be a very long walk from your room to the front lobby. Pool makes you feel like you are at a resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be tricky if you arrive too late for breakfast it can be a zoo, where you are waiting for a table. Although they did open a second option for you to have breakfast in their Thai restaurant the atmosphere in the european restaurant is preferable. Open and light compared to a low lit atmosphere which can also be a god send as it is much more peaceful place to enjoy breakfast. Overall a great place to stay at.
