“Comfortable and friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

This is a cosy and rather new hotel. Our family booked a business suite which had a king bed, a big bathroom, a pantry, living and dining area. It was spacious and clean, very comfortable for our 5-day stay. Breakfast was included, and had a reasonably good spread. The food was very well cooked, and service was excellent. As my daughter does not drink cold fresh milk, coffee or tea, we asked if they serve hot choc and the staff promptly prepared a cup for her every breakfast. We also had a pleasant surprise when a birthday cake was left in the room for my daughter on her birthday, with a handwritten note from the GM!
I'm only giving it a rating of 4 because they seem to be short of bath towels. On certain days, Room service did not replenish toiletries and towels after making up the room.
Location is good because of its proximity to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel has a tuktuk service to fetch guests to and from the lane entrance. There is no prob when getting out, but on returning, we had to keep our fingers crossed that someone would come out so we could take the ride back. Otherwise we had to call the hotel (if you have roaming) or walk back.

Stayed for 3 nights in November. Hotel is on Soi 12 - a side street off Sukhumvit and very convenient for all the bars & restaurants in the Sukhumvit area. Being about 200M back means the area would be quiet if it were not for the constant sounds of construction in the area. We were upgraded to a mini-suite ("efficiency" in US terms) which had a fridge. Breakfast choice was adequate and there is a "Happy Hour" from 5 till 8.

This is the third we have stayed the First time was excellent. However after that it has getting worst and worst. This last stay the evening meal was served to us with 2 of the 3 courses still frozen. My sisters room was dirty, so dirty in fact that she would not get a bath, plus the formica edging was pealing off so of the units and had just been left to hang there.
Complaining to the manager made no difference.
Will never stay again.

Dear StephenandJune

Thank you for your recent visits. Sure great to see that guests are coming back - not so good to see, that we may loose them, due to a bad experience. This seems to be the case with you both and I apologize for all the inconvenience caused.

I have also sent you a separate and more detailed email and hope to hearing from you soon. I am sure, we will find a way to have you soon back and proof you, that we can do a lot better.

Yours Sincerely

Simon

I booked this hotel for a weekend getaway based on the trip advisor reviews and they were correct. Staff is great, breakfast is standard, its a bit down on the Soi, rooms are clean spacious, there's value (I say book early for best savings), location is good.

I now live in Bangkok but would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Keep up on the reviews for this one as they seem to be spot on.

Room Tip: Go high and facing the park if possible.

Always stay at the Ramada Suites when I travel to Bangkok. Great staff and five star service are worth the price and the pool area is an oasis of calm in the middle of the city. There is a bit of temporary construction in the area but, no fault of the hotel. The hotel facilities and excellent service more than make up for this situation. When in Bangkok, the Ramada is a home away from home!

We went on a short trip of 4D3N and we stayed in the hotel all along! Breakfast had many varities. The workers were superb! The gym and pool were available till 10pm. The room was comfy and the bath tub was the best after a long days walk! However, the pool need more cleaning and the room was a bit stuffy... loved the stay!

We love to travel to Thailand and always stay at the Ramada. GM Simon and his staff are marvelous. The rooms are always wonderful..we have stayed in a standard room and suite, and the food is great. On this trio, we stayed a week before heading to Koh Samui, and will return for three more nights before heading back to the US.
The breakfast has a great variety with Thai options like fried rice and Pad Thai. Each day, the breakfast food changes, so we love it. They also make eggs to order! Happy Hour is winderful too! I love the Mai Tais!!!
There is constuction noise by the pool is not a bother as we just listened to our music on our earphones!
Nearby is everything..food, shopping and the Skytrain...and the staff is so helpful. We love "our hotel in Bangkok" as it is an oasis in the middle of the city.
